This and the links I provided give enough proof for the honest people to know we didn't get here by Bush alone. The folks who hate Bush so much they have to lie about him, rather than discuss actual issues, will just have to ignore this, as well.

Bush didn't start this. And Obama ain't going to end it.

Both your statements are true but as it has been said "the buck stops here" when you are president. President Bush holds as much responsibility as any president. The problem I have is I voted for him.

I've given you the links. You ignore them. You are dishonest. I have shown you, several times where Madeline Albright is ok with the dead wom en & children. You are deliberately dishonest.

My mistake. I should have said credible links and a reporters question is not proof! The link to MA is totally off topic. It has nothing to do with the economic mess we have now. Please try to stay on topic.

You never answered my questions;

1. What president turned a budge surplus into a huge budget deficit in the early 2000's?
2. What president started the war in Iraq in the early 2000s?
3. Who was president when the banking crisis hit?
4. Who was president when the housing market bubble popped?

Sorry about your good high tech job. The negotiations leading to NAFTA were begun under the first Bush. I have never said I supported NAFTA.

Silly me - and I thought Congress had something to do with all those decisions...

1. What president turned a budge surplus into a huge budget deficit in the early 2000's?

None we were attacked by terrorists which lead to a necessary war.

2. What president started the war in Iraq in the early 2000s?

Bush and such is justified and necessary

3. Who was president when the banking crisis hit?

Which was warned was coming by republicans but frank and whatsherface fought against anyone making any suggestion of any such thing.

4. Who was president when the housing market bubble popped?

That would be Clinton, Bush inherited a recession

You'll have to translate that statement. It seems to contradict it'self. It is undeniable proof we were meddling in Iraq long before GWB.

I am on topic. How many dead Iraqi women & children are ok with you ?

I did answer them. The war was started under Clinton. And the banking crisis hit after congress was turned over. And also, you display more dishonesty with the question, because you have seen the links before, of how Bush tried to intervene in FM&FM, but was beaten back by the depicable Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd. You have already been shown all of this. Go ahead and pretend to be "nice", but your hatred of Bush and his supporters is shameful.

For you to accuse anyone else here of hate is unbelievably hypocritical! No one here shows more hate for the current administration than you!

Not hypocisy.

I readily admit I hate the damage this administration is is doing to my country.

But when Obama is fired, I won't be calling for his trial for treason, even though he has governed by executive fiat rather than the legislative process, iillegally involved us in a war, and refused to enforce the law and obey the constitution in several ways. He should be impeached, but I just want him gone.

Then we can go about undoing the damage he is doing, at least as much as the law allows. Something he doesn't seem concerned with.

The OP is a hate filled piece of trash by a rabid Bush hater and you and Crabby are eating it up. That may not be hypocritical, but it certainly feeds your own hate. That's easy to see. I can't wait to see your hypocritical response.

No one said we were not meddling before GWB. Again:

1. Who sent combat troops into the Iraq in early 2000?
2. Who turned a budget surplus into a huge deficit?

But this is off topic as the OP said nothing about that and it was about how this economic mess began.

I am on topic. How many dead Iraqi women & children are ok with you ?

The OP said was not about the women and children of Iraq. It was about how the US got into this economic mess. You are off topic!

I did answer them. The war was started under Clinton.

Using your strange logic the war really began under the first Bush ... he just didn't finish it.

But again your are off topic as the OP is about the economic mess we are in and how it started!

Again:

1. Who sent combat troops into the Iraq in early 2000?
2. Who turned a budget surplus into a huge deficit?

Interesting how it is the fault of Congress once the Democrats took over and the Bush policies had nothing to do with anything ... but now it is all Obama's fault since the Republicans took over the house. You flip-flop all over the place on this one. Don't run for office as a flip-flopper.

Budget surplus/debt - what party controlled congress?

War in Iraq - what non-Republican party supported the war at the start?

When the banking crisis hit - what Democrats were responsible for the irresponsible lending practices? (Hint: Frank and Dodd)

Housing market bubble - what Democrats were responsible for the irresponsible lending practices that pumped up the bubble? (Hint: Frank and Dodd)

1. Who sent combat troops into the Iraq in early 2000?

Wrong question. We were involved in killing Iraqis before GWB.

2. Who turned a budget surplus into a huge deficit?

Unanswerable. If I were you, I would do some research on how the dot-com bubble actually burst under Clinton.

But this is off topic as the OP said nothing about that and it was about how this economic mess began.

You can't change history by repeating the same lie, over & over. My posts are on-topic. You just can't stand to have facts contradict your hatred.

The OP said was not about the women and children of Iraq. It was about how the US got into this economic mess. You are off topic!

Your O/P accuses Bush & Cheney of starting two wars. Pointing out the wars were going on already is on-topic.

Using your strange logic the war really began under the first Bush ... he just didn't finish it.

So it would be silly to blame GWB, and ignore Clinton & Gore, and the roles they played in escalating the mid-east conflicts we find ourselves in. Thank you for showing my posts to be quite on-topic.

But again your are off topic as the OP is about the economic mess we are in and how it started!

Take your questions & ram them up yer snout. You have been completely misinformed by hateful idealogues.

Ya know, the only possible answer to this question:

1. Who sent combat troops into the Iraq in early 2000?

would have to be Clinton since Bush wasn't in office until January 20, 2001, but you guys are so intent on taking hacks at each other you didn't even notice it!
