Well, then you should clarify your answer. I chose 1 Cor 15:1-8 because it neatly summarizes of the gospel.

What would you say, specifically?

Then ask for clarification from the start, don't put words in my post that are not there.

The Gospel, is all of those things you said PLUS believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that you shall be saved.

Do you know how absurd that question is? What Calvinist (other than maybe hyper-calvinists) woud say to someone, "If you are elect you can be saved"? Nobody I know, nor any major calvinist theologian I know of does this.

We preach the Gospel. Grace alone, Faith alone, through Christ alone. Plain and simple.

What Calvinists believe is that if that person is of the elect their ears will be open to hear.
I knew what your answer would be. I agree, it would be absurd to tell the truth of Calvinism to someone when you are witnessing to them. So, if someone asks you "Can I be saved?" What is your specific answer to them?

It's not the truth of Calvinism it is the truth of Scripture. But it is not necessary to give the full theology of the Bible while witnessing. I have already answered what I would tell them.

Of course not you'd rather hide your Calvinist doctrine from them because they wouldn't waste their time.

No, because at that moment, it would not be pertinent to the situation. @MB we already know you hate Calvinism, you have made that clear, but don't put motives into someone else that are not there.

I have no way of knowing what I would say verbatim without actually being in that situation. What are you trying to get at?

It's all there in the OP. I want to know what Calvinists would say to a person on their deathbed that was worried about going out into eternity without knowing their destination.

Why not you assume false things about others. Then accuse them of it. You are doing it again assuming I hate Calvinism. You must hate freewill as well

You are right, hate was a strong word. I apologize.

As far as freewill, Calvinists affirm freewill.

It has never been a question about the freedom of the will. It is a question about ability. Everyone has the freedom to choose Christ. But in their natural state, they do not have the ability.
no, Calvinism does not teach free will at all,

Unconditional Election, remember

Unconditional Election affirms freewill. Again, it isn't a question of the will, it is a question of ability.

Left to our natural wills we can only choose sin and destruction.

We do not have the ability to save ourselves, if we wanted to.
We can want to be saved but without a knowledge of Salvation, we cannot.

Ability is not Will

Calvinism says there is no free will. Salvation is entirely up to God's choice It is a lie of the devil that suggest sin is also God's choice
