The way to begin hearing God better is to quit listening to our flesh so much.
So the flesh can speak to us the same way God can speak to us? My flesh has never audibly spoken to me and so I never have heard my flesh in an audible voice.

The way to begin hearing God better is to quit listening to our flesh so much. That's not an easy thing to do, but it's important to turn off our reasoning and to put our emotions into neutral when we're listening for an answer from God. Our flesh is always going to cast its vote on what it thinks we should do, but we need to ignore all of that voting and listen to our spirits instead. For example, if we are determined to do something no matter what anyone says, then we might not hear God telling us not to do it. If we have made a choice which seems rational to our minds, then we might not feel the need to ask God about it. If we really, really want to do something, then our emotions can drown out God when He's trying to prevent us from making a mistake. This illustrates how our wills, our minds, and our emotions can hinder us from hearing the voice of God.
Sometimes it's appropriate for us to make our own decisions, but we've seen that "the mind of the flesh" is our "godless human nature." We can't trust our minds or emotions to tell us God's will.

Again...where did I say an audible voice? That must be the part of us seen Copeland get into arguements with while "preaching!"
What post did I mention an audible voice?
I know He did in the Bible...but I myself have never heard Him speak in an audible voice. I also do not put limits on God! Could he??? Yes!Notice the question mark?????? I did not make an assertion or accusation but raised a question.

I agree that the Bible is the testimony of Jesus! But when he sent His Spirit we all have access to hear from Him on a personal level too! I believe in a personable God...one that guides me through His Spirit to all truth! I can speak to HIm as a child to a Father...a friend to friend...on all issues in my personal life.yes, he did in the Bible and I also do not put limits on God. So can he? yes! However, that is not the rule but the exception to the rule. Today he Speaks through His son as the rule (Heb. 1:1-2). The New Testament is "the testimony of Jesus" (Isa. 8:16; Rev.1:3).
I figured that last one would have been attacked...
The Voice of the Devil
Sometimes it's easy for the devil to deceive us simply because we don't read our Bibles in a prayerful, honest, thorough, unbiased way, and we help the devil by being complacent in our Christian life. Even pastors and Bible teachers are not immune to these biases and "filters," which is why it's important for us to develop our own spiritual sensitivity and to study the Bible for ourself, allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate His truths to us. We should be careful not to let our feelings or our logical reasonings or other people's opinions be our source of "truth," but instead we should read God's Word and listen to His Spirit within us. That's why God gave us both of these things!
I agree that satan is all about deception! That is why we need to know the Word...and know the voice of God within us!satan will give you the "message" that is close to the truth, but misses the mark, see how he got the folks like Copeland/Hagin and the gang!
He will take the scriptures and use them to appeal to sinful flesh and your desires and wants...
That rules out tongues doesn't it?Remember, it's faith which pleases Him.
What? Are you trying to say that if faith pleases God, then tongues pleases...us?That rules out tongues doesn't it?
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. What? Are you trying to say that if faith pleases God, then tongues pleases...us?
Why do you bring tongues out in every thread???That rules out tongues doesn't it?
