Spontaneous fire during pre-delivery inspection. Production of electric F150 halted. And now another EC vehicle fire!
Ford stops production of electric F-150 after battery fire
And the drum beat of disinformation continues...Spontaneous fire during pre-delivery inspection. Production of electric F150 halted.
Another step toward people waking up to the dangers of these vehicles.
peace to you
Ford is about to realize huge financial loses when their dangerous, unreliable, ridiculous EV F150 is rejected by all the people who use the trucks to work for a living. And the drum beat of disinformation continues...
Has the actual cause of the fire, whether improper manufacture or design flaw been announced? Nope. Has Ford found the problem? Yes.
Does Ford think they can implement corrective action within a "few weeks?" Yes
LOL, Ford is trying to fill the back log of orders.Ford is about to realize huge financial loses when their dangerous, unreliable, ridiculous EV F150 is rejected by all the people who use the trucks to work for a living.
But don’t worry, taxpayers will fill the gap for this nonsense.
peace to you
Apparently, the propaganda isn’t close to reality. See post #30. Let’s see how many they produce as they continue to spontaneously burst into flames, spewing toxic heavy metals into the air and water.LOL, Ford is trying to fill the back log of orders.
Ford plans to be making roughly 12,500 Lightnings a month by the end of the year. That should put full-year deliveries between 80,000 and 90,000.
There you have it folks. Forget the child slave labor in dangerous mines, killing children. Forget the poisonous toxins and heavy metals that will be released into the environment when the batteries rupture (and every single in of them will rupture one day, leaking the poison).Anecdotal evidence as provided in posts #30 and #32 is not as reliable an indication of customer satisfaction as people abandoning their old car make, and going to Ford for the Lightning. Maybe not having to pay 50 cents more per gallon in California than the rest of the states, or getting the expensive smog check, and if necessary repair. Not to mention the Catalytic Converter thieves.
But here is a very telling snippet indicating demand exceeds supply:
Ford Motor Co., concerned about its reputation and customer complaints related to the upcoming launch of the F-150 Lightning, is warning dealers not to upsell reservations for the popular EV truck and also wants customers to sign a contract preventing them from reselling it within a year, according to a letter from the automaker to its dealers.
And here is a link about Lightning high demand:
The Ford F-150 Lightning Is Still Struggling With Demand

SNIP

Still no condemnation of the child slave labor digging in dangerous mines for the heavy metals and toxins used to build the EV batteries. One falsehood after another. Everyone knows the LFP batteries do not contain "heavy metals." Everyone knows vehicle fires occur at eight times the rate in fossil fuel vehicles than in BEV.
Do not listen to the false claims of those invested in the fossil fueled economy. Let the market decide, rather than those lacking a concern for truth.
And the beat goes on, ignoring the truth child slave labor is not involved in the production of LFP battery raw material mining in the USA or Canada.Still no condemnation of the child slave labor digging in dangerous mines for the heavy metals and toxins used to build the EV batteries.
Agreed, however, let the MARKET decide. Quit giving taxpayer money to subsidize EVs and see how many are produced.
peace to you
I guess you only care about children in the USA and Canada. And the beat goes on, ignoring the truth child slave labor is not involved in the production of LFP battery raw material mining in the USA or Canada…..
I cannot believe this poster has completely missed the fact, repeatedly posted, that LFP cells contain no heavy metals.I guess you only care about children in the USA and Canada.
Most of the heavy metals and toxins used to produce the batteries are mined in Africa, China.
Probably the most disingenuous post I’ve ever seen. You sound just like a politician attempting to obfuscate the issue. How incredibly sad.
peace to you
