It's as if God is hamstrung by the reaction of humans.

All believers are called to repent and return whenever we go astray. A godless person cannot return to that which they have never been. Would they repent and return to sin since it is sin that they have always known? Therefore, it is important to know that repentance is an action of those whom God redeems, not of those who have not yet been redeemed. The one who truly believes will repent. Not only that, but the redeemed will continue to confess sins in repentance and continue to receive forgiveness. This is the process of sanctification, which God completes in his children.

These modern day judaizers teach legalism, which the Apostle Paul called anathema.

They cannot accept that God makes a person alive and then that person repents. Instead, they demand their own control rather than God having the authority. They desire to take away God's honor and glory while giving it to themselves.

I can read that what Paul is here saying, is to those who are already believers! There is not even a hint in this to say that God first makes a sinner "alive", and then they are "able" to call on Him for salvation! This is more reformed theological nonsense, and NOT what the Bible Teaches! There you go!

God makes people alive with Christ...even while they were dead in trespasses (sins).

God does the work.

so, you are saying that no Christians are in "bondage" to lust, pronography, living in sin, with anothers wife/husband? what planet are you on?

I am saying, based on the following scripture, while I as a child of God I still sin, I am no longer in "bondage" to habitual sinning.

[Rom 6:1-2 KJV] 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

[Rom 6:18 KJV] 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

If a person claims to be born-again, is living in habitual sin is not chastened by the Holy Spirit, that person has serious cause to examine their relationship with God.

[Heb 12:7-8 KJV] 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
