The artical explains it well. From the link I gave you.
"Critics say that the officer could have used a taser or some type of pepper spray. This does not make sense because the knife was already in full swing and stab motion. There is a split second to react in order to prevent serious injury and/or save a life. Using methods with high failure rates and slow preparation times simply makes no sense in a life-or-death situation."

The police arrive at a scene where a girl has attacked one person (lying on the ground) and is approaching a second person with a kitchen knife. As the police approach, the second victim stumbles and the girl raises the knife to stab the second victim. What do the Police in "civilized countries" do?

we also have crime in the UK, as they do all around the world, and guess what, no OTHER country deals with criminals, by kneeling on the criminals neck, till they suck the life out of them. Or shoot a FIFTEEN year old girl and kill her, when she was probably in need of mental help! We DON'T go into the work-place and school, and shoot a dozen or so people. We DON'T all have the desire or need to own a gun! This tells me that the USA is more of a backward country! Maybe Joe will sort it out

complete RUBBISH! This police office is meant to be a highly trained MARKSMAN. So WHY NOT use his expensive training to shoot the girl in the arm, or the shoulder of the arm she had the knife in? There was ZERO need to kill her! Excuses were made for the officer that shot Floyd, and more excuses for this officer!

Yes of course everyone on the UK always handles criminals perfectly.:Rolleyes or maybe here when the very few do stupid stuff it gets piticised by people like Joe.

By the way your country is the reason why we own guns. See here in America we value freedom. Freedom from turranical governments. We value limited government.

Gun ownership is not the problem. See yall have had people running around stabbing people and running people over in crowds. So dont talk to me like yall are free from this sort of thing.

The problem is the evil hearts which have hands that commit these acts. Guns, knives, and vehicles are just tools. Its the hearts of men that commit these acts.
