Yeah, death bed "conversions" happen often.

From what I understand, he had been thru catechism with a priest for the last year or years of his life. He knew what he was doing and was baptised.

He came unto his own, and they knew him not.
    Comes with territory.
I think the whole "if Christ died for all his blood was wasted on those who reject it" is silly.

Catholic? If so, I seriously doubt his "conversion."

Oh, let's not do that. We cannot doubt conversion based on a particular denomination. It was the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which was started by Saint Mark. You do remember the eunuch in the chariot, right?

Sure, one Ethiopian saved in the Bible and the rest is all good. The Catholic church was started by Peter, then shortly thereafter went off the rails.

That church has a very long history.Christianity is 2000 years old, not 500. To say that the church went off the rails is to say it was moved out of its place. Jesus said the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Yes, it definitely went off the rails; then came Luther.

The Ethiopian Church has nothing to do with the Roman Catholic Church. How did it go off the rails?

I didn't. You made a leap in faulty logic.

No we were talking about the Ethiopian Church and you said then IT went off the rails.
In normal English, IT would mean the church we were just discussing.

There is one church, and it didn't go off the rails. Everything in the reformation should have been done within the church. You cannot remake the Church.

Post 47. "It" referenced the Catholic Church of post 47. You command English as poorly as you understand Romans.
