Christ the risen Saviour, not potential Saviour! 4

Mans religion will tell us that Christ is a Saviour unto people who never are saved, however thats a contradiction to the very definition and role of Christ the Saviour. If you ask them why is Christ the Saviour of lost people they will tell you because the person didnt repent or something of that nature, however a impenitent heart is one of the many sins Christ saves His People from as a Saviour. He in the capacity of Saviour gives repentance Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And since Christ as Saviour gives Repentance, He also gives faith or belief of the Truth. You cant have one without the other 2 Tim 2:25

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth

Christ as Saviour bestows both repentance and acknowledgement of the truth on His Israel, the Church, His Sheep 1

Also those whom Christ is a Saviour to, not only are they given repentance/acknowledgment of the truth, but they are given forgiveness of sins. Lets read Acts 5:31 once again please :

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Folks those Christ died for and is a Saviour unto have been given forgiveness of sins.

Paul wrote to the elect in Eph 1:7

7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

again Col 1:14

in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Now all dont have forgiveness of sins, hence we cant conclude they have have Christ as a Prince and a Saviour.

Remember Christ indicated that some shall die in their sins, how can they therefore have forgiveness of sins Jn 8:24

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. 2

Now when its stated that Christ gives as a Saviour forgiveness of sins to His People Israel, Acts 5:31 synonymous with forgiveness of sins is non imputation of sins. Lets read Rom 4 when Paul writes 7-8

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

So those whom Christ is A Saviour unto, whom He gives forgiveness, the Lord doesnt and will not impute sin unto them. See also 2 Cor 5:19 for non imputation.

So if Christ died for ones sins, He gives them forgiveness/non imputation of sin.

So consequently, they which shall die in their sins in unbelief Jn 8:24 cannot possibly have Christ as their Saviour, that would be a contradiction to Him being a Prince and a Saviour.

The Promise of God was never that He would save all humanity without exception, but a particular world of Individuals called Israel. Isa 45:17

But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. 6

Israel here in Isa 45:17 doesnt mean ethnic jews, though some of them are included, but its speaking about Gods Elect from all nations and kindreds and peoples and tongues. Its nothing other than the Church, the Body of Christ, the Saviour of His People.

Salvation is premised upon Gods Promise, and Christ was the fulfillment of that Promise, and for this cause He was raised according to Promise a Saviour unto who? What does this scripture say? Acts 13:23

Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

1 Tim. 4:10, "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe."

1 John 4:14, "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."

Do you see anything about a potential Saviour ? I dont

Saviour of the World !

Lets look at Jn 4:42; 1Jn 4:14

42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

What does it mean that Christ is the Saviour of the World ? Religionist who dont handle the word honestly would tell us this is saying that Christ is the Saviour of all of Humanity individually. That is not what these verses say or mean. Folks Christ Jesus isnt the Saviour of unsaved people. People who are lost frankly dont have a Saviour, for if they had a Saviour from Sin which Jesus Christ is Matt 1:21; 1Tim 1:15;Lk 19:10.

To say that Christ is the Saviour of lost souls is a contradiction of His very names sake !

What therefore does it mean ? Simply that Christ is the Saviour of the World of the Saved. All the People from all time, and races. The Nations of the Saved Rev 21:24

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Its the Saved World in Christ !

You added “of the saved” to “Christ is the Savior of the world.”

Thus, you must add words to scripture verses in order to make the verses comply with your limited atonement ideology. Scripture on its own contradicts you.

Its foolish to say He is the Saviour of the lost !

So you disagree with God.

Joh_4:42 They said to the woman, “We now believe not only because of your words; we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man truly is the Savior of the world.”

1Jn_4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.

Your problem BF is that you actually think that the calvinist view is the standard rather than the bible. As long as you do that you will never find the truth.
