Then you will have to be all knowing and able to see into their hearts and minds, because otherwise you have no idea what sins they have committed. But one thing is sure, they have sinned.

And I have been taught that all but one sin is forgivable. So God can forgive sinners like Trump and me and you, but you can't?

Are you placing yourself above God now?

Sin is forgivable when repentance has been given. Right now all I know is his character has not shown him to be trustworthy. It is a fools game to just take a politician at their word. Where is the evidence that trump can be Trusted? From what I have seen he is not a trustworthy man. It is not my job to forgive him but I do need to trust him. His character is not trustworthy.

I trust Hillary to try to appoint the Fifth Activist to the Supreme Court, nullifying the Constitution. I trust her to be pro-war. I trust her to promote sodomy and oppress our freedom.

I trust Trump to drive down the middle of the road.

No, RATs are stupid.

(...)

If RATs aren't stupid, then they must not be Christian.

(...)

RATs are not principled, they're just morons ...

The GOP will look back and say, "Why didn't we confirm Obama's selection. What they get from Clinton will serve them right for being obstructionists on everything he proposed.

Did you read Trump's comments about nuclear weapons?

Nope.......I don't believe a true christian would ever be Democrat.

Are you saying that a true Christian can support a party that nominates a man:

  1. who has had multiple wives
  2. who has had unknown numbers of mistresses
  3. who is a chronic liar
  4. who is unethical in his business dealings
  5. has an adviser who said, “There are no such things as Christians. Just people who call themselves Christians.”
  6. who by his own admission has never ask God or Jesus for forgiveness. he was quoted as saying, ‘I like to be good. I don’t like to have to ask for forgiveness… And I am good; I don’t do a lot of things that are bad.’
This list could go on for a long time.

Yes. It seems to describe a man the Word said was "a man after God's own heart."

There is no way you can argue that number 6 in anyway shape or form describes David. Psalms 51 flies right in the face of the idea that David would not recognize his need for forgiveness.

The amount of rationalization that Christians engage in to justify their support of Donald Trump is astonishing!
The more rationalization I see, the more I realize we, the American Church, deserve the persecution that Trump supporters try to scares us with about Hilary.

The amount of rationalization that some Christians engage in to justify not doing everything possible to stop Hillary from getting into the white house (especially at this time) is astonishing.... except, see the title of the thread.

Trump is far, far better than Hillary. You might be a fan of Hitler for his single wife. I'll take Trump who is a libertine, but isn't going to nullify the Constitution.

Yes, and Trump had his wives at different times, unlike David, who had far more wives (and others), m any at the same time. As for his need for forgiveness, he had to be confronted with the fact that his sins were not secret, then he confessed his need.... he really was a politician!

Obama's choice, Merrick Garland, is almost as bad as it gets.
