It was a mistake - I googled on univerity & california and that was one of the results.

Nice the way some people automatically assign the worst motives to others - so much for charity.
</font>
You know you are guaranteed our charitable forgiveness if you ask for it.

I think USC was Catholic ... But, do not quote me on that.
USC is private university. The three college systems in California are:

The California State University system (Cal State schools)
The University of California system (UC schools)
The California Community College system (junior colleges)

There was an assumption of assigned "worst motives" and questionable charity on the part of a poster. Quite forgiveable.

Trying to confuse us all over again?

All we are concerned about is UC, which is the state university system of California.

The CSU system is the California State University system of universities.

There is a difference.

No assumption, the bad motive was stated outright as if it were a fact. But of course, it's forgiveable - I've already forgiven him (without trying to make him crawl); I just thought it was interesting.

Has anything come of the lawsuit or is it still too soon?

</font>
What lawsuit? We were just trying to figure out if UC is a state school or not.

Oh, that lawsuit. No, nothing new.

OK, I just wish I knew what she was forgiving me for ...
For not being forgiving of her, maybe.

Anyway, I've been forgiven also, so all is forgiven and can now be forgotten.

Have you read Marvin Lubenow's "Bones of Contention" yet? If you like adventure stories, mystery novels and detective stories, this one reads like a who-dunnit in the world of paleoanthropology.
