Christians can miss the kingdom and/or be punished at Christ's return

Hello,

This is a supplamentary post to the one in the theology and bible study section, at:

http://www.baptistboard.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=001459

(please read that to understand what I am going on about!) It is intended just to show that the position I advocated there is not new. What follows is a list of some premillennialists who, at least at some point during their lives, believed that Christians could miss the kingdom and/or be punished at the judgement seat of Christ (although there are obviously differences between them over some details - even important details). The list is taken from the book, "The Rod: Will God Spare it?" by pastor Joey Faust, and the RH numbers refer to page numbers in that book. Finally, I must also point out that not all these people are were baptists; although many of them were. I hope it is still OK for me to post this? Thank you.

Since a subject related to this was posted in the theology forum... I suggest as the co moderator of this forum you move this also to the theology forum... Since there are all points of Eschatology and Baptist that believe various ones as there are pre... post... dispys... amils and preterist... I am closing this post now!... I don't feel this falls under Baptist History and will start disagreements among brethren that it was never intended to do!... This is the quiet portion of the BB and there is christian civility and brotherhood here and I feel this post will disrupt that!... If you feel I am in error contact rlvaughn the other moderator he may reopen it... I am closing it!... Brother Glen Co Moderator Of The Baptist History Forum
