"whoever", you have huuummmed that same mantra for months. First as BaptistBeliever until they took that name away from you; then as Just Christian until you got banned; then as Freedom until you got banned again; now as "whoever" or is it alatide. You need to change the tune a little each time. Instead of huuummme you might go: "God have mercy I have supported the slaughter of the unborn by voting democrat for ?? years and still do." That will do you more good than mouthing that Buddhist mantra you "huuummme".

Hi OR, I'm not sure what line of reason you are following. I was supplementing your indignation against abortion by showing that there is a definite possibility that euthanasia (death with dignity so-called) will become our national policy if HR3200 passes (either as it is, modified or broken into majority vote only pieces) because it seems to be following a similar path to the legalization of the murder of the innocent in the womb.

Actually I am over 65 and I am on medicare (which I have paid into all my life to date) parts A and B. I also have something called a Medigap Policy from Mutual of Omaha which is regulated by the government.

Medigap does just that, it covers whatever Medicare does not.

Together my premiums are $220/Month. I have never paid a cent out-of-pocket.

Being a veteran, I am also eligible for healthcare via the VA.

But back to the track of abortion: I made a statement to everyone a while back: Don't say euthanasia can't happen (actually it already is happening in two States).

When I was a young man if anyone would have told me that one day the Supreme Court of America would put their stamp of approval on abortion, I would have reacted with outrage that anyone could possibly imagine that the Supreme Court of America was capable of such a thing.

Look, if the most helpless and defenseless are trashed for convenience sake and the government says it's OK, is anyone else safe?

I agree completely. I was just pointing out what happens when the Government gets involved in anything.

As I said above, I am almost sorry I made that post about the Republicans yesterday, not because of the words I used, but because those who support abortion use it to make their agenda of murder look better by comparing themselves to the mistakes of the Republcians. I do not want to be any part of making these people think that this evil is anything but evil. You may have a point in that the best way to stop the slaughter is to work to change the Republicans back to their roots. I am too idealistic in the way I look at things sometimes.

Obama did do something about abortion - just as he promised.

He increased it.

His first act in office was to fund over seas abortions.

No, I don't believe that you were duped. You got what you wanted and you wanted what you got.

What we got was even more slaughter of the unborn.

That long haired guy that got fired from the University of Colorado for plagiarism is typical of the majority of college professors today. He was just dumb enough to get caught.

Most colleges or universities, north, south, east, or west are hotbeds of radical leftists. All you need do to prove this is to note how conservative speakers are treated compared to America haters like the president of Iran at Columbia University.

You lie as usual "whoever". The president does not make law, Congress does. The democrats controlled the House of Representatives from 1955 until 1995. After Roe v Wade not one bill to restrict abortion was introduced in the House. When the republicans took control of the House in 1995 they passed the Ban on Partial Birth Abortions twice. Bill Clinton vetoed it twice. When George Bush became president the Congress passed the bill again and Bush signed it, proving that you lie.

I have posted the last 3 democrat party platforms which endorse the slaughter of the unborn. You know this and continue to empower the democrats, therefore, you support abortion and you cannot lie out of it.

Do you agree that in Vietro Fertilization which is a form of abortion should be made illegal? If life is precious, which I believe it is, how can anyone support capital punishment or any but the most necessary wars? I believe the last one of these was WW2.

1) Yes I oppose in vitro because it is fertilization outside the womb.

2) I am against capital punishment in principle not so much because of the act itself but because of the possibility of error.

Capital punishment is allowed by Scripture (Genesis 9:6). Those guilty of murder are to forfeit their own life.

I will say this; I would approve of a "life sentence" for the crime of murder if it were indeed a gauranteed life sentence.

3) War; I hate it (and I am a veteran) as does any reasonable person.

Again Genesis 9:6 applies here. You are correct that some wars could have/should have been avoided (e.g. Our own "Civil" War).
And yes, often times it is questionable as to who drew first blood.
