In the recent post, The extent of Christ's Death , it was stated that Christ died for ALL sin. Although focused on the sin on the world, must we consider the sin of Satan paid as well? Do we err by saying All sin ?

I don't know who claimed it or what scripture was cited. The scriptural justification for the statement is essential.

I can think of no evidence that satan is included in Christ's atonement. Moreover, I think it is a mistake to think of the atonement as something separate from the Person of Christ. He is the door for the sheep, the bread of life, the way, the truth and life itself.

Even if the atonement is considered separately from Jesus, and satan was somehow included, it is of no effect since we know he will not enter into the life of Christ. Only those who enter into Christ are taken into His death, resurrection and life. We are reconciled to God in the life of Jesus.

I think we can safety say, ALL who enter into the life of Christ are redeemed.

No, He did not die for the sins of Satan just as He did not die for the sin of each individual sinner. Only those who would believe.

Hebrews 2:16 says that the Lord Jesus Christ took not on himself the nature of angels ,but he took on him the Seed of Abraham so in verse 16 we are told exactly who He died for.
There is no.redemption for fallen angels.
Elect angels look into and learn of redemption by watching how God saves the elect.

Jesus did not die for Satan. Satan is a fallen angel and angels are not the heirs of salvation. They are unredeemable. Jesus died to the pay the penalty for the sins of humanity, not the sin of fallen angels.

wow, the intensity , the repetition of the mantra,

then I see several problems

Was God not able to redeem them? not willing?

He did not die for ALL SIN, the category of sin.

He does have favorites among the created beings.

I would rather God than man ideas..

Will Satan be incarnate at the end?

maybe it means sinners, all sinners, all who need salvation cosmos means universe
In modern usage the term cosmos is used of the universe. But the foundation of the world . . . κοσμου . . . being understood to be the origin of man, did not take place until the sixth day.

Jesus didn't simply die for SIN. Jesus died for us to save us from our sins. Jesus only died for human beings. And yes, God has favorites. We are the only creatures made in His image that He wanted to have to fellowship with. We are His creation and when we are saved, we are His children. Jesus did not die for angels. I don't see why you list that as a "problem."

anybody got a verse that supports "no redemption for fallen angels" ?
Actually, if you are making the argument FOR the redemption of fallen angels, you need to show that they are included in the plan of redemption. Nowhere in the Bible are fallen angels included. So we don't need to a verse that explicitly states that fallen angels are not included. If you think they are, the onus is on you to prove it.

I do not think we err because "sin" is understood (normally) to be in regard to that relationship between God and man.

There is not a verse that says that,
Angels cannot be save by one death since there is no brotherhood, no kinship. Each were individuals created by God.
Like our souls, we do not get them from our earthly fathers

He covered all sin, committed and yet to be done, So He had to cover ALL sin or be re crucified for every future sin. HEB 6.

Crucify afresh making He Death of little effect

neither verse says what you post
". . . everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: . . . " ". . . the devil . . . was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, . . . and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. . . ." Yeah, it is just meaninless rhetoric.

All I am saying WE forgot to consider other sinners in the other post.

What we are is anthropocentric, regarding humankind as the central or most important element of existence, especially as opposed to God or animals.

where is the redemption part? man will be sent there too, but some will not and be redeemed. We know these verses but is there one that includes any thing about redemption?
