Do you ever get the sense that many here don't want His imminent return? Even so come Lord Jesus.
Does that please you?
You people are celebrating some Catholic churches closing. In the Northeast (although the Catholic Church is the fastest growing church in the world) but when it is pointed out your own churches are the ones losing members you get cranky. When I pointed out that the Catholic church was the fastest growing Church in the world I was question on whether my sources were catholic sources are non-catholic sources. When I showed non-catholic sources show the church has tripled in membership worldwide nothing but crickets! Maybe y'all need to take a look at your own backyard and wonder why people are leaving your churches in droves, huh?
Let's look at Garden Grove, California where the former evangelical Crystal Cathedral disintegrated after Robert Schuller retired. It became a Baptist church right? Nope, because of the enormous growth of the Catholic Church and the area the Catholic Archdiocese bought it for a cathedral. It is indeed still a cathedral, one that is packed week after week with standing room only of Catholic Christians. Glory to God!
There is no such thing as a Roman Catholic Church. As somebody said many years ago, "They are theatres without the name."
But then, so are mamny charismatic churches.
If you get back this way, be sure to stop by and we can stop for Coffee at Heids!heyyyy i grew up in Seneca Falls and Ithaca---fairly close to cuse! though, moved at this point
Much of your growth of your Catholic Church in America is people already Catholic pooring in over the Southern Border.
I live in Roseburg, Oregon. The city is over 98% Caucasian.. St.Joseph Catholic Church has almost doubled in members, added masses, standing room only at most masses. Want to try again? Btw, most Baptist , Presbyterian, congregation, Lutheran, etc. churches here are dying and close to closing.
only if they are leaving to submit to Rome...Does that please you?

Just looked at several baptist churches in your area - at least one has multiple morining worship services. if they were close to closing - they would be down to one service. And as I said - there are several baptist churches - Methinks you need to do some actual research before you make such outlandish comments.
Didn't say they ALL were failing. The largest one is on the verge of splitting. Such a 'Baptist' thing
I live here, you don't. Your 'outlandish' accusations amount to accusing me of lying. And, the assertion that the tremendous growth in Catholic churches on the west coast is all because of illegal immigration from the south is bogus. If that were so then the predominantly Caucasian congregations would not be growing and be stagnant or declining like most of the Baptist Churches here. Come see for yourself!
Aha! SUBMIT TO ROME!
Your evil entity has a date with the White Throne Judgment!
Coming soon!
CHILDREN OF GOD DO NOT SUBMIT TO ROME!
Here's another idea, salty, since I really doubt you want to make a trip here to the northwest. You can call Pastor Jane Baker at Faith Lutheran Church. She is a personal friend of mine and their church has two services also. the first one is at 8 and the average attendance is eight to 10 people including the pastor period. The second service has an average attendance of about 50 people in a building that holds at least a hundred and fifty. she will tell you this is very common for most of the Protestant churches here in the northwest. you might want to do a little investigating on the religious affiliations of most oregonians before you make accusations and insinuations
Previously, you said "closing" now you are saying "spiting". - A "Baptist thing" YES - and that is based on a very important doctrine- of which the Roman Church does not subscribe to. - LOCAL CHURCH AUTONOMY"Didn't say they ALL were failing. The largest one is on the verge of splitting. Such a 'Baptist' thing
First, I am extremly careful of calling people liars! Second, what I am saying is that you may not have all the facts -I live here, you don't. Your 'outlandish' accusations amount to accusing me of lying.
Walter, - you do need to read the entire post of an individual before you answerAnd, the assertion that the tremendous growth in Catholic churches on the west coast is all because of illegal immigration from the south is bogus. !
Send me a plane ticket! If that were so then the predominantly Caucasian congregations would not be growing and be stagnant or declining like most of the Baptist Churches here. Come see for yourself!
