It's easy to tell he's a guy. Maybe the dress style, but that's mainly because that's what I'd be more used to seeing girls wear based on the society I grew up in.
Overall...Goofy? Yes. Cheesy? Yes. Girly? I don't know that Id call it that.

Thing is, what's considered manly changes with the times and can differ based on different societies.
I'm told that during World War I they had a hard time convincing pilots to use parachutes when the planes crashed because it wasn't considered manly to avoid facing death. It used to be considered very unmanly to cry or show those kind of emotions.

Don't get me wrong--I'm ANYTHING but one of those "gender is all in your head" people. There are definite differences between men and women. But saying you have to sing a certain way to be manly...? I'm not seeing it.

You may be the only person on the planet who thinks that Richard Simmons, regardless of how he dresses, is not effeminate.

Do you not think that there IS an effeminate way for a man to walk and talk?

One more try.

Look at this guy and forget the bow in his hair, his long hair and his clothes. Just focus on the way he moves.

Tell me you do not think that this is effeminate.

I think you have personal issues. That video is offensive & likely in breech of the standards of this site. You had to search for a video like this one, unless it was already linked on your browser. The fact that you have posted such trash, reveals your unwillingness to take this debate seriously, or your inability to intelligently defend your position. I'm curious, with all the accusations you have leveled against other churches for playing effeminate music, I'd like a list of the churches you have personally attended & witnessed such behavior. Your baseless mischaracterizations of others are a sign of a self-righteous spirit.

I'm saddened that I was subjected to a video like that with no warning. Seriously - a man who would post that on a public board shows a serious lack of discernment and quite possibly some twisted thoughts.

Honestly, this is one time I do expect an apology. I didn't need to see that.
