It's easy to tell he's a guy. Maybe the dress style, but that's mainly because that's what I'd be more used to seeing girls wear based on the society I grew up in.
Overall...Goofy? Yes. Cheesy? Yes. Girly? I don't know that Id call it that.
Thing is, what's considered manly changes with the times and can differ based on different societies.
I'm told that during World War I they had a hard time convincing pilots to use parachutes when the planes crashed because it wasn't considered manly to avoid facing death. It used to be considered very unmanly to cry or show those kind of emotions.
Don't get me wrong--I'm ANYTHING but one of those "gender is all in your head" people. There are definite differences between men and women. But saying you have to sing a certain way to be manly...? I'm not seeing it.
You may be the only person on the planet who thinks that Richard Simmons, regardless of how he dresses, is not effeminate.
Do you not think that there IS an effeminate way for a man to walk and talk?
