I have posted numerous times the falsehood of the following statement in the Deceleration of Independence.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

There is NO Biblical basis for making that statement. God has not endowed all of mankind with anything, ever.

Therefore I question the identity of their creator.

How is it that the Federal Government would take such foolish steps to setup an official commission based on such lies!!

Brother, you stated several generalities, but didn’t connect any dots, so it is rather difficult to discern what your objections are.

On the other hand, the article made it rather clear that those politically opposed to the commission are fearful of two things in particular. They are worried the US will not support abortion or LGBTQ folk internationally. From the article:

Well, OK, let’s start out with the most basic and see how it goes.

Until I learn of scripture that teaches otherwise, yes. Human rights are also removed and abused by government.

God has make no inalienable/unalienable endowment to all of humanity.

God requires His chosen to be obedient to continue receiving His blessings.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Now I understand where the problem lies. The definition is correct but is being improperly applied.

An “unalienable right” cannot mean that the right cannot be violated, it means that the right cannot rightly be denied to exist or arbitrarily taken away.

Recognizing the right to life by passing a law against murder does not mean no one can be murdered. We know they can, thus the reason for stating the law. What it does mean is that the right to life remains so, even if violated, so that a person was indeed murdered and not merely "helped along on their spiritual journey."

God said the violation of this right was so serious that the murderer must forfeit his own life via execution.

Ever wonder why the godless left is so opposed to the bible? Because it teaches liberty is better than slavery. The left thinks the governed are the slaves of the state, with no rights other than those bestowed by the state.

So if God bestows life, only God has the creator right to take life. Communists disagree.

If it is better to be free than slave, and God is sovereign, then God has bestowed the right to strive to be free.

If the Bible teaches us we are to (1) love God, and (2) enjoy life, then God has bestowed upon us the right to strive to enjoy life.
