    Good Morning Everyone!

Thanks for the donut Sue. I'll be back for a second one as soon as I get a coat of primer on the walls of the first part of the bathroom. The second half will get done tomorrow, I hope.

I may kill the cat before the day is over. She is fastinated by the drop cloth and I don't have time for her to be under my feet playing! I've got to paint and then get to the sewing machine.

I only got that one outfit done yesterday. I'm out of practice doing heirloom sewing and ended up pulling half of it out and redoing it. The things I'm doing today are by a different pattern and shouldn't be nearly as complicated. (thank goodness). I meant to take pics of all this stuff but it was so late when I finished yesterday that I didn't have time before they had to be delivered. I'll try to get pics of these.

Good donut, I'm off till the painting is done.

Ya'll have a good day and try to stay cool.

    8:30 am, 80 degrees

Wow, this place is deserted. Guess that means no one will mind if I get an extra couple of donuts.

I deserve them! I have painted the first half of the bathroom and managed to make T's truck undrivable all in one day! (No I didn't wreck it. I just drove it down the street to Walmart and it got to running so rough that the check engine light came on)

Hopefully my inlaws will get here soon with a car for me to drive. The mechanic won't be able to fix T's until the end of the month.

    Good afternoon,

Well, the nurse at the Cancer Center called this morning and the Dr wants a Bone Scan. It's scheduled for next Thursday.

Cindi, you sure have been busy this week!!

The bathroom that I hope to get started on soon has paneling on some of the walls. After I sand them, should I put a coat of primer on, or just paint it?

I primer everything that hasn't been or I don't know what is on it. That way I know my paint won't peel off the walls! :D I actually had paint peeling off the ceiling in the bath because there was no primer under it. I could have probably gotten away with priming the walls, but I wasn't able to tell if they had been primed or if someone had just slapped some paint up. There were lots of bad places we had to fix too, so priming just made sense.

Since I rambled: yes, I would definately primer the paneling. LOL! Sometimes I get lost on the way to my point!

I'll tell you, I will be glad to get this week done with! There was definately too much in my schedule. If I can get everything done, next week will be a bit easier. (except school is starting and I don't want it too, sniff)

Y'all are still busy as bees, I see.

I made a delicious chili dog casserole for supper and I have plenty left. I'll leave it here in case some of you night owls are brave enough to eat it before bedtime.

I just made orange smoothies and they were yummy! I make some every night and I've made about six different kinds so far. Each one I make is our favorite. :tongue3:

I'm bringing in the makings so we can all have Boiled Omelets for breakfast in the morning.

I'm heading for bed. Enjoy the casserole.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Morning all:

Gayla, am praying for the bone scan.

Sue, thanks for the "welcome" back.

I went out yesterday in the 100 degree heat and tried to mow some of the lawn on the riding mower. I got some done, but, ended up having an asthma attack and had to quit. Besides...it has been so hot, it's burned the lawn to a crisp and there was a lot of dust and dry, dead grass blowing up into my sinus' and ears and eyes. I've been having trouble breathing ever since.

I have to keep reminding me self, "This is the day which they Lord hath made...I will be rejoice and be glad in it" (LRV...Lanius Revised Version)

Y'all, make it a good day.

    Gina! I've missed you girl!

Thanks from breaksfast Sue! I'm gonna take an extra cuppa with me

Oh, I met up with madfingerpainter over at the Pit Stop. She tried to come in here but the doors were locked. She can't figure out why cause all the lights were on. :tongue3:

    Good morning all,

I just threw my boiled omelet together and it's almost done. I chose ham, 2 eggs, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and cheese. There are more ingredients in bowls in the fridge. I will leave the pot of boiling water simmering on the stove. Make your own...

I'm having mine with hash browns, toast and grape jelly, orange juice or milk.

Coffee is on and tea is brewing,

    Good Morning Everyone!

Gina! How dare you say we're boring! You know what happens to bored people right? Mama Sue finds work for them to do! Sue, what's on Gina's list for today? :D

MC, I can't wait to see your handbag.

Don't know why Madfingerpainter couldn't post here, probably just a fluke and today she'll be able too. With the word MAD in her logo she(he?) should get along just fine down in the Pit Stop. ;)

I'm off to the sewing machine myself here in a minute. After, I have another cup of coffee.

My list for the day is sewing and partying. Cassie is having a sleepover to celebrate turning fourteen last week. Think I'll survive having 5 teenagers in my house? At least I won't be bored.

I'm headed off to see what's going on with the rest of the BB.

I can hear ya! It just took me a while to reply.

I've been out buying school supplies. This is our tax free weekend so I took advantage of the $3.44 I saved on school supplies. :D Aren't ya'll proud of me? LOL! Even with three, I didn't have much to buy this year. Mostly just paper and pencil. The funniest thing I couldn't find this year was red ink pens! No ten packs to be found.

Most aggravating thing I was asked to buy this year was copy paper. What's up with that? And not just one ream, I had to buy two. I'd expect it in some systems in AL, but our system can afford to buy copy paper! (just ask me how much money is in our system's general fund) Not only that, but our PTA raises 20-30 thousand dollars every year for this particular school, a good portion of which goes straight to the teachers!

That my friends was my rant for the day.

It's party time! Girls are arriving!

Ooooh, MK, a sleepover! Sounds like fun! Hope everyone has a great time. Tell Cassie Happy Birthday.:flower:

We are redoing our kitchen. Man, what a lot of work! The most frustrating part is that people don't show up or call or anything, I am sooo ready to be done! The countertops are in, along with a new sink and dishwasher. Next is the tile backsplash, which I will do myself. Then the flooring will go in, and I will paint and change the knobs on the cabinets. Hopefully, we'll be done in a couple of weeks.

Is everyone surviving the HEAT??? It is HOT here. The lake is down 7 feet. I sure hope we get rain soon. Bro. T, I know how you feel with the asthma thing--my son has asthma, and can't mow the grass without an attack.

I'm leaving some banana bread for anyone who would like a snack. It's yummy with a cuppa tea.

    See ya'll later.:wavey:

Well, I'm up way too late, but wanted to make sure Gina cleaned out the fridge tonight so she won't be bored... :tongue3:

We all three went to the county fair tonight. We were there for about three hours (all we could afford). It was Senior's night (and kids under 13 get in free) so none of us had to pay! Since we were Seniors, we didn't even have to buy a car pass. Oh the 'perks' of getting old errrrrrr I mean more mature. :saint:

I took my oxygen but didn't have to use it. Yeaaaaaaa! Actually I plopped down in the lawn chair (in the shade) and 'people watched' while Dale and Brent walked down the fairway and rode some rides.

Brent has to be up early tomorrow and be at the library by 8:00 a.m. It is 'book moving' day (getting ready for the annual book sale) and the Boy Scouts help move all the books for the library staff. This troop does a lot of community service and I think it's wonderful.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    P.S.
Gina: When you finish the fridge; would you mind terribly cleaning out the oven? It was used a lot for the 100th anniversary party. Thanks Sweetie.
