jim, I always liked the one about the Texan who bragged about taking 3 days just to drive from one end of his ranch to the other.

Wyoming rancher looked at him and said, "Know what you mean. I used to have a truck like that."

Gotta poke fun at Texas, right?

Good morning Sue. That is close to the conditions in the KC area as well. I would not want to be in your shoes out there either. Dress warm!

Good Morning Watchman!

I am surely going to dress warm. I might try to park the car where I can jump in it for a few minutes and warm up. Frost bite doesn't take long with these temperatures!

We've had a cold snap. It was 52 when I got up this morning. We had to turn the air conditioner off and I'm wearing a robe, a man's robe. Will probably have to wear a long sleeve shirt to work.

Well.. hope I don't bum anybody out! But my husband deals with depression (since I met him 5 years ago) has diabetes, and he's also not a believer. So you can imagine how difficult it is to co-habitate. He's also 21 years older than I am, but we've had four children in the last four years and I don't think he'll ever retire! lol. So there ya go. hehe.
First of all - I'll be praying for you and your husband - for the depression of course - but more importantly - that he comes to know Christ.

Four children in four years - do you intend to keep that run going?

I have a warped sense of humor - so don't put much mind to my teasing!

Dan - I'm also a diabetic - but I don't have time enough to be depressed - or maybe I cure what depression I have by posting on BB.

So the entire region (1/5 of the US) is 17,712,000 people, or about 5% of the US population!
So what you're telling me - big area - little population -

And you wonder why all the pro sports teams go to higher populated areas!

I think it's called economics!

Good Morning Gib and Dan!

Gib: Stop bragging about your nice weather while I am freezing my patootie off!

Dan: We wouldn't know you without your teasing!

I have to make a quick run to Wal-Mart after the corner this morning and I am dreading it! It is MUCH too cold for man or beast (or woman) to be out running around!

It was 3º when I got up...it is 1º right now with terrible wind chill of -20º!

Diane,

Tell Nick that going to the dentist is lots of fun - they usually give children lolly pops after the procedure is finished -

Of course - that's to assure return business.

Dan - 10 crowns and a three tooth bridge + two root canals - and I survived!

Sue,

I was going for six in a row - and then you butted in!

Dan - disappointed again! -- but still trying to push the envelope!

Jim,

I fear that if Canada ever thawed out - you'd find that most of what your government has been taxing - would be gone (as in ice melting)!

Dan - living a little south of you - and a few degree warmenr!

Woke up this Wednesday, 6 Jan 2004
(that is the good part, i DID wake up)
to 10-degree weather. This is the coldest
it has been HERE in seven years! By Thursday
night it shouldn't even freeze. But for now
we have some drips going (Please, no jokes
about Ed waking up).

We are all fine in central Oklahoma, just griping
a bit about the weather.

Ed,

Have you recovered from the Sooners fiasco of last week-end yet?

Dan - sorry - but I just had to pick on you!

So these awful Google ads drive me CRAZY. Just because I said I have to take Nick to the dentist this morning, the bottom of this page is COVERED with Atlanta Root Canal advertisements! OUCH.... It's like a NIGHTMARE! HELP!

It's up to 31° this morning and we'll be leaving in a few minutes. Quite a drive to this dentist but he's a Christian, Pro-Life, Republican... OH.. and rated as one of the best Pediatric Dentist in the south AND he accepts PeachCare Insurance and gives Nick laughing gas for even a tiny filling. Love this guy. Can't say his name without messing it up tho... Duckelburger, Duckenberger.... Dr. D!

Now open wide......... :D cause I'm outta here..
