COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE #30

Thankful

Now if you could explain to me how I can lose something, look for it for a while and then go back to the first place that I looked and it is there.

Do you understand what I'm talking about?

Betty,,that was a definition of the word expert...Dan said he was an expert, and I was saying, by definition, and expert was just an unknown drip under pressure.

I guess you have to be English!

Cheers,

Jim

Some of those discussions in Other Religions get rather intense, don't they? I enjoy reading them, but I don't usually post there.

Even when you try to be diplomatic, you can land up in trouble.

I am trying to figure out what Kolbassa is...Mary got it instead of my Polish sausage...it is quite spicy.

Cheers,

Jim

That's good to know because I really like shorter posts better. Easier to read. When someone posts a long post without any paragraphs or spaces, I find them difficult to read and usually don't read them, but I know you moderators have to read them anyway.

HI All, went and got my hair cut this afternoon. The young lady takes forever because we talk and she can't talk and cut at the same time but it's such a joy to talk about Jesus with Tammy!

Hope everyone is keeping warm! It's 33° here now but feels colder! Jon says the wind chill is 21° so that explains it!

Jim1999, I prefer Kielbasa (a brand name spelling) but we cut it into chunks, quick fry it and eat it with mustard, eggs and toast as a fun night time meal.

Betty, sounds like me! I KNOW I put something a certain place but will not see it when I first look. Next time... there it is!

Hey Sue. Glad you don't have to be out in this cold today.

Poor Dr. Bob! Sure pray his back is better very quickly so he can enjoy his time away. I expect him to 'check' on us once a day or so. Surely the ship has computers! So Beware!

Hey Diane!

I knew you must be busy today. I miss you popping in now and then throughout the day!

I talked to Shawna today. She is having a birthday party for her son (he will be 10 Sunday). She is on crutches, but you can't keep that girl's spirits down for long!

Well I'm tired tonight and only football is on. Think I'll grab a movie and head to bed early tonight.

Sleep well, all!

I think Jim called me:
an unknown drip under pressure
I must say - that's the nicest thing anyone called me today.

Well maybe I'll have to take that back - Abigail called me Pop Pop - she called again today - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - and today. She wanted to call us last night about 10 PM - but her mother said she had to wait until today.

Dan - but you can call me expert - Pop Pop - or anything eles - except late for dinner!

New topic - so it's not a double post!

We worked on the dining room again today - still getting slivers - guess I should wear gloves.

Have a good tomorrow!

Dan - not double posting - at least right now!
