HI Guys, I actually dropped a shirt when it was 'freeze dried' and it broke a tear into the fabric. After that, I'd hang them in the basement by our big heater if they just had to be hung up.

Thanks Jim1999 for the prayers. I really appreciate them. We're waiting for the call back. The interview today went well and was with the President of the 'holding company'. They asked Jim to get a Motor Vehicle Record and fax it over so we tracked down a department a few towns away and got that done about noon. They haven't called his old boss for a reference. We're still VERY good friends with them and they've been praying and helping us look for jobs. The wife emailed me just minutes ago saying she had not gotten any calls into the office yet.

I'll let you all know the minute something happens tho! God is good and God is ALWAYS on time!

On my last post to Dr. Bob - the word was lecture - I have no idea what secture is!

Dan - confused as ever!

Don't worry, Dan, nobody ever reads your posts anyway.

The govt bureaucrat I'm working with keeps changing the rules. Now it looks like I will have 75-100 workers from Western Nebraska and all of Wyoming for TWO HOURS, right after lunch and before the afternoon break.

Might have to rethink my whole presentation - maybe break it up with an activity or something to get the blood moving.

In me as well as them.

This is a whole lot tougher than most speaking gigs I have outside of the christian realm. Ugh to the Feds.

Dr. Bob - I heard on Jeopardy last night that the phrase "E Pluribus Unum" was found in an ancient manuscript in Latin about how to make salad.

Really. Constructing the dish by putting the various things together.

Hi there I am blessed... (and everyone else!) the title here caught my attention because there is a Common Grounds coffee house near to me.... I thought you might have been one of the owners, til I saw where you are from.... I am in north central IN, btw...
and yes, it is COLD here! we have about a foot of snow on the ground (lots of lake effect coming off Lake MI) and the wind chills are in the -10 to -15 range.... thank the Lord for houses, for furnaces, for running water.... and everything else!!

Hello everyone,

We have not long returned home. Seems you have been really chatty while I have been away. Well, I just thought I would look in and say hello. I am really tired so I am off to bed. Talk to you all tomorrow,

Good Night and God Bless

Hi John and welcome to the Coffee House! I hope you will become a regular. We just pop in and out during the day according to our schedules and we talk about anything and everything! :D

Well, people. I enjoyed my day off. I wasted it, but enjoyed it nonetheless. I meant to take a short nap and just woke up! I guess I needed the sleep.

Good thing I put supper in the crock pot today! Hubby must have laid down, after work, when he saw me napping. He is still asleep!

Will be back after supper!

HI Guys, Well Jim never heard from the interview today even tho they promised to call in the afternoon. He had to go get his Motor Vehicle Report for the last 7 years and it was perfect. He faxed it over but never heard.

However, the job from N.C. was offered to him. It's a lot less salary but he took it. It's going to be VERY tight (less than we need) and I'll work as much as I can at the stores in the next town to help out but God's will... is our will.

Diane...Jim has a job! That is wonderful news!!

Even though it may not be the one you guys thought was the one you wanted, it obviously is the job GOD wanted you guys to have!! I can't wait to see how God blesses your family through His plan!!

But please "refresh my memory" ( :( ) about this particular job. What will he be doing and where? Does it have the benefits you needed? Is this the one that had free shirts??

C.J., this one is Georgia, Ala, and the upper part of Florida. The other one was the whole United States with travel All Week and Every Week. It was a LOT more money but no family life! We're still concerned because it's not a large salary and we won't be able to afford the insurance but Jim can grow the sales and then make more. It is the one with free shirts! LOL

Jim feels better and I'm really glad he won't be gone all the time but had hoped it would be a little more so we could pay for insurance. However, we'll still be low income so qualify for Nick's insurance through the State of Georgia.

Thanks again for all the prayers!

Diane,

Glad that Jim has a job - when the children are young - it's better for Jim to be home more often - I learned that from experience!

Dan - work - work - work - it's off to work I go!

PS - Sheila - glad to see your smiling face on BB again - hope you had a good trip!

Dr. Bob,

Are you calling yourself a "nobody?"

Or are you using "nobody" in the devotional sense?

Dan - somebody must have read at least one of your posts - as you have so many of them!

DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL EFFECT CNTL IL OVERNIGHT.

A VERY COLD AIR MASS IS STILL IN PLACE OVER CNTL IL TONIGHT. ALL AREAS ALREADY HAVE TEMPS AT ZERO OR COLDER AND ARE EXPECTED TO FALL TO THE -5 TO -10 DEGREE RANGE OVERNIGHT. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 6 TO 16 MPH WILL COMBINE WITH THE COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE WIND CHILL VALUES OF -15 TO -25 DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING HRS.

Going to bed to stay warm now.

Pleasant dreams all!
