Boy oh boy. Son and family here and THREE KIDS 4 and under with grandma and grandpa at Wendy's is a HANDFUL.

Now I remember why God gives little kids to YOUNG people and not us!

Another funeral in the a.m. so I will not be around the BB. Or the house - will miss grandma making famous DINOSAUR PANCAKES with Noah and Cami (grandma has a number of molds that sit on the gridle to make special creations!).

But read "Three Little Pigs", "Bambi" and then was trying to hit "Uncle Remus & Brer Rabbit", but the kids got jumping up and down on the bed and pillow fighting and playing hide-and-seek under the bedspread . . well, wore EVEYROnE out and grandma is putting them to bed and I am typing and just checking in here.

Back in a while. PLEEEEEEEASE don't throw me in the briar patch!

Not too much on for today, the rain precludes a whole lot.

Saturday is my day to cook breakfast, then I have a chap I am teaching to read who calls by. We have him to the point where we are hoping he sites the English junior cert this year (it is the exam in the middle of secondary school.)

Have a little bit go get ready for tomorrow and a rugby match on the telly this afternoon.

What does you Saturday hold all?

Hello Sue and Roger,

Well, it is really wet and miserable here. I should be doing Sainsburys today, but I think it can wait awhile. I think I may go back to bed with a cup of coffee and a book.

Roger, that is so good that you are teaching someone to read. Is he the Lord's? or are you telling him about Jesus too? It must be amazing to see this man's world opening up before him as he progresses in his lessons.

I will be back later,

God Bless

Sheila

Martin is not yet saved. We have talked about the Lord and we are close freinds with the whole family now. Last year his wife and daughters came to the Mother/Daughter Tea that Mary hosts on the day before Mothering Sunday.

You might pray for them as the Lord brings them to mind.

Hello Sheila,
Good to see you back to early on posting. Looking forward to the rainy season here,,means the snow is gone....but alas, we shall have to suffer the cold and snow another three weeks.

Afraid my hands are getting worse, so I am not posting as much anymore. Arms feel like they have weights wrapped around them.

Cheers for now,

Jim

Diabetes is an insidious disease - sneaks up on you and then grabs you and shakes you. Sometimes - even though you've done everything right - the sweetness count goes up - unexplainably.

Jim - I'm praying for you!

Sheila - don't fall asleep with coffee in your hand and spill it!

Sue - I downloaded the latest update from my virus protection supplier - ran a scan this morning - everything - A-OK!

Roger - several years ago - when CDL first started - we gave employees a test to see if they had reading and/or comprehension problems. The task of telling those who were identified with such problems fell to me. Some readily admitted the problem and received help - others denied having any problem.

Dr. Bob - bask in the love of the grandchildren - this side of heaven - I can't think of anything better to do!

Dan - rambling on as usual!

Good Morning Dan!

I just ran my live update and already had all the latest updates. Ran my scan and I have no viruses.

Now, if I could just get rid of those pesky POP UP ADDS!!! I have SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard installed, but it won't get rid of the ones that popped up BEFORE I installed them!

I got rid of 2 of them by going to Add/Remove Programs, but the rest aren't on there. I have no idea why Norton doesn't delete them. But, I just get the message "delete failed".

§ue (still trying to figure this puter out!)

Dont feel bad Sue, I have two files from Gator Adware that I cannot get rid of - McAfee won't delete them.

Hate it - use pop up blocker on Avant Browser so that helps.

Roger, I got rid of the Gator pop up ads by going to 'My Computer' and then 'Add/Remove Programs'. It was listed there and I was able to delete it.

Morning All, I was up before 7:00 but have a touch of that tummy ache still so just laid around for a while. Jim had it last night. He was really sick with it but feels fine now. Several of my church kids have had it!

I got the MyDoom virus 8 times the very first day but saw it was zip files and from people we didn't know so we deleted it. Saw the report on it the next day so I ran Liveupdate. We've gotten about 4 more but Norton has caught it. I also got the 'Hi My Pretty Nancy' virus once but thought it was porn since a 'picture' was attached and I didn't know the sender. Deleted that one too.

I'm sorry to hear about your arm pain Jim. Hope it was something minor and quickly passes. I really know very little about how diabetes affects people and learn something every day from reading about the trials of our friends who have this awful disease! We should pray for a cure to be found!

Gayla, I surely will begin to pray now for Carl's job search. He's still young enough that I think he'll find a good job pretty quickly. Age is our enemy!

Thank you all, again, for the prayers! I feel sure God will provide the funds we will need to honor our bills. We've had some 'miracles' already through cyber angels.

Love,
Diane

Good Morning Diane!

Glad to see you up and about! I hope your tummy feels better real soon. That is NOT a good feeling.

I am very happy that Jim has a job! That will take a lot of the stress off of you and I KNOW it will make Jim feel better!

Off to put a ham in the oven....cyal!

I do so enjoy the grandchildren! Had Cami Rose climb into bed with me (7 am after me going to bed at 2 am). Grandma came in and dumped 6-week old Chloe on my chest and I luxuriated in them both.

Then to preach a funeral of an old Vet and now back into blue jeans, North/South football game, Noah and Cami (kids took Chloe Grace with them) here with games and puzzles, and a whole afternoon ahead.

Think toasted cheese samwich will work for lunch? ;)
