HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BRO. DAVID AND MIRIAM!!!

Tests took two hours at the hospital and I still don't know any more than I did (except they found two cysts that weren't there last year).

The doctor will call me when he gets the results - probably Monday or Tuesday and let me know how they are going to get rid of the infection that is there, but they can't figure out why!?!

Shawna had an appt. today also and found out she will be having a hysterectomy in the next two weeks. Please pray for her...

I am going to try and catch a 30-minute nap before picking up the papers.

Carl called our Real Estate Agent at almost 10 o'clock last night!
She called the seller's Realtor this morning, they're going to contact the Company that did the termite letter (who apparently need a new prescription on their spectacles! )

Hopefully, we'll know something by Monday. If not, we're gonna start making 'pests' of ourselves!

Stopping in for a few posts. Casting Crowns is in Brunswick for a concert tonight. I'm taking the boys early to meet the band and watch them set up.

Taylor's drumset hasn't come in yet. Cheryl and the neighbors are very happy about that. We can hardly wait for them to come in so we can annoy everyone we love.

I got a note from Sue and she's just drained from her day and has to be up and busy at 4:00 a.m.! Please keep her in prayer for complete and forever healing and also for peace of heart and mind while she waits to hear back from the doctor with her results. This is a very scarey time for even those of great faith.

I'm also heading to bed soon. I leave at 5:30 a.m. for the AWANA training and won't be home til probably 3:00 p.m. Remember us in prayer for our trip. It's back roads and sharp turns all the way with rain expected to be heavy in the morning.

Good morning all:

I was up at 3:20 folding papers this morning. I woke Brent up when they were all in the car so he could help me deliver them.

We came home, ate breakfast and layed back down. We just woke up!!!

Today, I can relax! We are going to the Balloon Fest this afternoon (if the rain holds off).

Brent did not go to the fair (it was too expensive), but tonight they have 'wrist band' night and he can ride all the carnival rides he wants for $12.00. Plus, if we go before 3:00, we all get in free...

Bobby got home last night from Arkansas with a bag full of dirty clothes. Guess what I'll be doing Monday?!?

Brent is earning money from the paper route every week and when Bobby is here, he pays Brent 50 cents to make his bed everyday. Brent feels rich!

This is the first time I've been online since I went to bed early last night.....freaky!

Cheryl survived the concert last night. We got an invite to sit backstage. It was a very different perspective sitting that close to the musicians.

We are going to go to a gem show today. Want to see if I can buy/sell some stuff.

Gayla---it shouldn't come as a "shock" to anybody as they scroll down and find all of this responsibility being thrown on Blackbird!! Blackbird is "use" to being shocked!! Of course--as others "catch on" to Blackbird being in charge---it won't be so shockin'---they'll know that any kind of situation that can materialize----that Blackbird is "close by" and in control!!

Now---Gib??? About those Ho-Ho's!!!! Son, I am just as surprised as you are that there ain't none in the frige!!! And rest assured---Blackbird will investagate and will find out some things---and will find out who was suppose to be in charge---and they will be surprise when Blackbird gets finished with them!!! Truly, Blackbird is as surprised as you are!!

Afternoon all! I attended AWANA training in Dalton, Georgia today and Rev. Billy Lee from So. Korea was our speaker. His sweet little girl of about 5 sang for us too. The training was good but it was a 2 hour ride each way and we left the church at 5:30 a.m. YAWN! That's 6 AWANA Club Trainings in 5 years at least. I think I'm done for a while unless it's really close by!

Tomorrow is the day all our children move up in Sunday School. I already know the children moving up to our class since we've had them in AWANA for 2 years now so no one will be uncomfortable with the 'new teacher' or new room. Sure hope I can raise attendance and get the families to come more regularly. Kids need to be in Sunday School.

Hope everyone is having a very nice day! I see our celebrity, Blackbird, has tried to cause problems. Bro. David, are you coming by here in Sept. on your way to Tenn.??

Evening folks:

It is getting close to my bedtime...

We went to the Balloon Fest this afternoon. I had a corn dog, french fries with vinegar, funnel cake, and lemonade shake-up. Can't resist that festival food!

Tomorrow is the last day and so far the balloons have not been able to launch because of the weather.

I will be delivering papers in the morning when it is time for them to go up, so if the weather cooperates, I will be able to see them.

Good morning all!

Today is my day to listen to another do the preaching. It's good to sit back and take in from time to time - instead of giving out all the time.

Work at the bridge demolition job is going slowly - but it takes a lot of time to go slow - thus many hours away from home each day.

Jan says I come home (if it's my day to write a devotional - I do that) - go to bed - go to sleep. I think she's just jealous because she can't drop off to sleep at the "drop of a hat!"

I think of you all - even if I don't have time to post as much as I would like!

Hope everyone is heading out to church this morning. Nick thought our new preacher started today and was having trouble falling asleep last night from excitement. Kids

I'm STILL sleepy from yesterday. Thankfully, I don't have Ty until Wednesday so I'll get to catch up on my sleep for two more mornings.

Wow, in Oct. I'm going to be keeping our grandson for 4 days and nights while our son and his wife attend InJoy/ Catalyst. That's going to be a joy but an adventure. Jack will be 20 months old so I'll have 2 little ones plus the big kids don't have school that week so I'll have them extra hours. Hmmmmm.....

Dan-you are truely missed when you're not here. Roger and Blackbird are doing a good job of staying in trouble. I know they can't wait for you get regular and take some of the heat.

We went the Casting Crowns concert Friday night. It was awesome. We set on the stage(stage left, that is

). It's a whole different perspective from that view. The whole band signed Jordan's guitar. The boys were excited. They got to hang out on the tour bus, eat cheetos and cookies.

5th Sunday fellowship today. Observance of the Lord's Supper, Men's choir, dinner on the grounds (hope they mean tables ) evening hymn sing are some of the extra things we got going on today.
