I tell my wife that if I ever have a heart attack---that I would want to have the biggest, badiest, mean-ist, "Mam-ma Jam-ma" one of um all----go ahead and get it over with and go live with Jesus!

But until that time---I will eat right, and excersize more regular-ly!

    Evening all:

I just finished the papers and am getting ready for supper and a relaxing 'family night' before getting up at 3:00 to do papers in the morning.

    PRAISE REPORT!

I received this email from Courtney's mother today:

And on that bright note, I will say TTFN! I will start a new Coffee House in the morning.

    §ue (ready for some relaxation!)

WOW! That is a GREAT praise report! I'm thrilled. God is so good to us but we only seem to remember that fact when we see a miracle like Courtney and yet every breath we take, as Sheila said, is a gift. [IMG]

Well I had a lovely afternoon with just Nick and the two sisters. We painted fall scenes with broken fences, haystacks, cornstalks, harvest moons, scarecrows and some things I may never be able to identify but the 5 year old knew what she was painting. ;) Their Dad picked them up early today too so I took a two hour nap!

I've got scrolls all ready for 'Ezra read scripture to the people' this Sunday. I used Donna's trick and 'aged' my cardstock with strong coffee. I also ripped the edges before dying it so it really looks like old paper. I printed out a Bible verse in Hebrew and English, cut that to size and we'll have them glue it on, roll up their scrolls and tie it with raffia.

Jim has to work all weekend so other than cleaning, I'm trying to think of something to do with Nick. He and the other kids have been playing outside every afternoon now that it's not so HOT but they sure do track stuff in! You should SEE my kitchen floor! Well, maybe not!

Hey Dr. Bob, It's because us old gals are so busy! The days I don't have kids I'm cleaning UP from kids.

I did just put in the last load of laundry so tomorrow can be the usual cleaning!

I don't know how Sue does it! She has to be up at 3:00 tomorrow and Sunday! It kills me to be up at 5:30 Mon.-Thurs.

I truly appreciate what you 'old gals' do & it encourages me. Y'all are so busy and a few of the others are taking trips. Some of us just sit and read and play games.

Well, I thought we could raise a ruckus and maybe push this thread to 21 pages and blow Sue's mind for going to bed so early . . .

But [yawn icon] I have a big day at Camp up in the mountains tomorrow. Board meeting and "closing" camp activities after a coupla hour drive. So gotta get up and out.

So I'm gonna turn in early, too. So much for the party.

    Whoppee. [IMG]
