Hello everyone! Was kind of busy the past couple of days with wife number one...
She has been waiting for a surgery with her left shoulder. She fell on the ice last January and since then she was going from one doctor to another to no avail. Finally we got a specialist who get her under his wings and yesterday she was operated on. They made three small incisions around her shoulder and went in with a pin like apparatus to scrape her rotator cups. Now due to the pain in the left shoulder, she was not able to lift her right arm either. The operation was a little over 2 hours, but the recovery after surgery was over six hours due to her adverse reaction to the anesthesia. At one point they were hinting to keep her overnight in the hospital because of her trouble with breathing and horrific chest pain. The doctor gave her two of those small pills under her tongue, which are being taken by potential heart attach patients. Finally she was well enough to come home. It was after 11:30 that she was released. She had a good night sleep and this morning she came to my bed and lifting up her right arm above her head, she said: "Look Honey! I can do this, and no pain!" Praise the Lord, the surgery was a great help, but we could have done without the recovery episode.
Hope you sports enthusiasts and diehards will forgive the Yankees for gong all the way to the 7th game tonight. I think it is all business. Mr. Steinbrenner wanted to make it sure that he gets his money's worth (with full attendance at the stadium, TV commercials, selling of goods, etc.). Tonight the Yankees should show the world who they really are..... (and here you can fill the blanks with your thoughts).
