That is sooo neat when you find out another BB member lives nearby. I think Scarlett came to my town for the Catfish Festival, but I don't know where she lives. I do know there are some who post on here who live "in the area" sort of, but we've never met...tho' they may have seen us on the streets. I have met a few former BB members. (Walls, Trumpet, DixieGirl, Bart-tho' he is still here). There was one here who pastors not too far from me, but I haven't seen him post in awhile.

I would love to travel to see everyone & visit all the churches, starting with Blackbird, Pastor Bob, & Dan's first. I may pop over to ol'Blackbird's & surprise him one day, as he is just above my hometown (Brookhaven), which I haven't been back to in years.

Afternoon all! I've got all my Sunday School stuff ready for tomorrow and Easter Cards written to my 26 Sunday School students. Still have some cleaning to do tho.

Our son, Jon, who was in the great condo has moved back home while searching for a new place of his own. Remember I told you about the new 'roommate' the owner moved in? Well, not only THAT but the guy was filthy.

Sorry.... got distracted with a phone call.

Jon's moved back here for a while and he works 12 hour nights so I won't vacuum while he's trying to sleep. I need to do that in a few mins. He's up and has eaten and has to shower and leave soon.

A guy at his work has a 4 mo. old but they don't really have anything for the baby. I asked on Freecycle and got so many offers! We did pick up a swing, bouncy seat, toys, tennis shoes and about 4 big bags of clothes! I had other things offered but only took what they actually need.

Our 22 year-old son just blessed us with the same announcement, Diane!. He will be moving back into his "old" room tomorrow after church. The only thing he failed to mention was the until I find a new place part.

Oh, what a cutie!! Thanks for the picture!

I live very close to BroCRMixon, Lifter (hasnt posted in awhile) and Blackbird isnt that far away. There are 2 whose names escape me right now that live in the next town over. The only one I met was Lifter, and that was by accident at a funeral. He recognized me from my little picture!!! It was a little freaky.

Today we had a wonderful day. We took the girls to the national forest to hike on a trail that runs alongside a river. It was absolutely gorgeous. We found a little (actually a large) bank of sand and rocks, and we played and roasted "weenies". Dh also cooked greenbeans in the can over the little "stove" (actually a pit) he made with limbs and a camping grill. We also had hot tea. [IMG] It was wonderful. We go there at least twice a year - in the summer we swim, too. In a few weeks, we are going to try to camp there. It will be our first time camping (DH has done it many times, but us girls are novices) and we are excited.

Thats about all I know - except my poor bird saw the pics of the kitties, and its having a fit. [IMG]

    Good morning all:

I am going to try to post a 'hello' before this computer freezes up again.

Glen (the man I bought it from) picked it up right before we left for Springfield Friday morning and brought it back after Brent and I had already gone to bed last night.

It is still freezing up every minute or so. I am taking it to him at church this morning. If he doesn't get it fixed this time (he has tried four times already), I want my money back so I can go buy a new one!

I had posted all about our trip in the Women's Private Forum and before I could hit 'add reply', the computer froze and I lost the whole post.

I will be posting in there 'after' this problem is fixed.

    HAGD all!

§ue (hate 'new' computers that don't work)

Glad to see you online even if it's just to check in, Sue. I was a little worried about you by last night.

Nick is STILL sleeping this morning. I wonder if he played games half the night. LOL. Jim and I went to bed at 10:30. I woke up at 5:30, when the clock goes off Mon. thru Thurs. for Ty. I finally got back to sleep around 7... I got a few more mins. of sleep.

Today's a pretty long day at church. We have a special puppet taping session this afternoon. We burn a CD of the kids saying their lines because they're new at this and holding up the professional type puppets, coming on and off stage, moving the mouth and trying to read into a microphone all at once was overwhelming for these 2nd through 6th graders. This way, they don't rustle around or forget when it's their lines, etc.

    ttyl,
    Diane

I've gotta get a shower present wrapped this morning before church. I forgot all about the shower at church yesterday for one of our young girls getting married. I hate it when I forget stuff like that!

She is such a nice girl. I hope her life with this young man is wonderful.

    Peace-
    S.O.

Lovely child - may God bless you as you raise this young one for Him!

We saw four of our six grandchildren yesterday. Baby Andrew is not six months old - and is developing quite a personality.
