Ty's mother changes his diaper before bringing him in the morning but gives him a big cup of chocolate milk to drink as he falls back asleep here. I'd prefer she have him go to the bathroom when she gets him up at 5:30 a.m. to come here but ......

Almost lunch time here. Nick and Ty are playing a game and MacKenzie (who is VERY loud) is playing with some cars here by me. She goes down for a nap right after she finishes her lunch per mom's rules. I wake her by 2:00 and put Ty down. I need more sleeping rooms.

Jon's looking for a place to rent and share with a woman with children that he's worked with for years. She's getting a divorce from a drug abusing husband and can't afford a house alone. Many of the houses in our neighborhoods have finished basements that have separate apartments with kitchens, baths, etc. He'd rent the bottom half and she and her children the upstairs. They called about one yesterday and the rent is $1100. a month. She's paying $750. now for a tiny apartment but in a town a good drive from her work.

Morning all (or should I say 'afternoon'?):

It's been rainy and cooler here today. I've actually had to turn the heater back on fo the past three days. :( I'm looking for those SUNNY DAYS  to come back, but the weather man keeps saying not 'til next week.

Hope you all are doing well. Will talk to you later.

Well Hello Tony! We're supposed to hit 80° tomorrow! Sure hope so~ I'm ready for my yard to dry up. My VERY large Butterfly Bush is trying to pull out of the ground, it's so water logged and is heavier on one side. I cut away any dead branches yesterday and used a bungee cord to attach it to my deck until it dries up. The bush is taller than me.

Our glass patio table is covered with yellow pine dust and the pollen is pretty low today. I'll be glad when the pine pollen ends. It's just messy.

Today's Pollen Count: 273

This is the amount of pollen particles measured within the last 24 hours in a cubic meter of air.
Major Pollens Present: Oak, Hickory, Sycamore, Mulberry, and Pine

Allergy Tip: Grass pollen counts never reach the heights of tree pollen. However, patients can be miserable with counts in the low to moderate range.
Grass Pollen really bothers me.

Can I whine for a minute?

I am not a happy camper tonight. Quite irritable actually and I just might stay this way for a while.

Poor Son has had a migraine all day. Whiny kids on top of my already not very good mood, make the mood worse.

I need to go to the doctor, because my allergies are driving me up the wall lately with all the sneezing and sniffing, ear congestion and ITCHING! I itch all over, from head to toe. The worst though is the itching in my EARS, way inside where I can't scratch. On top of that, somewhere in the last few months since Christmas, I hurt my ankle.

I don't remember actually injuring it, just along the way one day I noticed it was hurting. Since it wasn't/isn't bruised, I didn't really pay attention to it at first. Since then it has steadily gotten worse. To the point now where it hurts nearly all the time, and if I accidently bump it even a little, I think I'm dying. It still shows nothing from the outside. No bruise, no swelling, just hurts.

Just when I think I can go get it checked, another kid gets sick.

Then at the beginning of the month I took the oldest two for dentist checkup and found out that the previous dentist had missed a bunch of cavities and weak spots in their teeth. This brings us back to today.

Not only am I itching to death and my ankle hurts and generally I feel like crawling into a hole somewhere, today is Precious' first visit to get all these teeth fixed(notice I said first). I purposely set up the appointment to correspond with Bitsy gymnastic lesson since they are both in the next town and gas is so high.

Before we can get there, I have to pick up the girls from school. Son has to stay home by himself while we go. I leave in plenty of time to get both girls and stop and get gas. So I thought.....I get to Precious' school and have to hunt her down because she wasn't where the office said she would be. This makes us late for the dentist.(not much, but I hate hurrying)

The dentist doesn't really care because there is an emergency appointment ahead of us. Now I don't mind waiting while they take care it as we've had to do emergency visits ourselves. But before they got through with Precious it was time for Bitsy's lesson. No big deal, I left her and carried Bits on, then headed back to pick up Precious, so I could go back in time to catch the last of Bitsy's lesson. I call Son on the way back to Precious to make sure he is alright. Then I look down at my gauges cause a light has just come on.

A low tire pressure light....I didn't even know my car had a tire pressure sensor. By this time I'm nearly back to the dentist so I get there and park and take a look at my tires. The right front tire was hissing air. So this is nice, I'm at the dentist with a flat and one kid while another is across this town and Son is all the way back home(20 miles) by himself with a migraine.

Thank goodness for Onstar, but it still took over an hour to get it changed and now I'm running on a donut and have to work tomorrow as well as pick up three extra kids for school and it was too late tonight to find anyone to fix the tire and tomorrow is Friday and I doubt anyone will be around by school's end to fix it then. And I'm STILL ITCHING!!!!!

I've had a bad day, ya'll help me finish this pity party so I can get some sleep.....

Gosh Cindi! You've had one of the worst days I've ever heard of! You poor dear! Wish I could say something to make it all better!

I'll pray that tomorrow is an easy day at work and that everything goes smoothly. Do call and get yourself seen by the doctor. I know that horrible itch in the ear. I put hydrocortisone cream on a Q-tip and gently put it in there. That stops my itching.

Possibly you can arrange for an x-ray on the ankle BEFORE the doctor so you'll have an answer.

Here's a verse I repeat at night when things seem overwhelming....

Psalms 4:8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Well, I just THOUGHT I had a bad day until I read your post, Cindi. Now, I am counting my blessings!

See? Even a little 'whine' can bless someone...

I am going to bed folks.

Pleasant dreams all!

May the Lord encamp His host of angels around your bed.

My poor husband is not home yet. Nick's on his cell phone telling him goodnight. He had a late night appointment. There's a rush on at the end of the month. The more you sell, the higher the commission rate gets. Jim's their number one salesman many or most days.
He works SUCH long hours and has to be up and out of here by 6:00 a.m.

Well, I'm going to check and see how close he is to home and possibly head to bed too. I've got 3 little ones coming between 5:45 and 6:15 tomorrow morning. YAWN........

Night all!

It helps just to vent.

Tommorrow's not going to be a whole lot better. I'm working with the early learning class, 3 year olds with various disabilities. Sweet as can be but I'll be on my feet all day. Still work's not the problem.

The problem is how am I going to get that stupid tire fixed when I'm at work all day, have company coming right after school AND the heat pump's out again so the heat pump guy is coming. I have to many places to go this weekend to ride on the donut the whole time.

The real problem is, I've had tomorrow planned out for a week. Having to change at this point really bothers my nerves. And I'm already not having a good day nervewise.

Anyway it'll work out somehow......

Thankful

Ohhhhhhh my. What a day you have had MK!

Now is there a place where you can drop your car off to repair or get a new tire? Then they will take you to work and then pick you up. We have a dealership that will do that. That would probably solve your problem or at least one of them.

Hope you have a much, much better day tomorrow!

Debbie, the baby birds are growing. They are so cute. They look like something from outer space and they always have their mouths open looking for food. They are five days old today. We know that there are at least three, but there maybe more.

Back to the critter control. We moved the piano. Opened it all up...Vacuumed and cleaned it. We didn't find a nest, just signs of mice. But we now have a nice clean, dusted (inside) and polished piano. I haven't played it to see if it sounds better.

It is another cool and rainy day. Nothing new...

I will be so glad to see the weather report with sun showing instead of clouds!

Hope everyone has a calmer day today...

Morning all! I'm slow getting things done today. Lots of little 'mishaps' taking up a lot of time. Brayden went 'ooie' and missed his diaper in his sleep. What a mess! Literally!

I let Ty sleep til just after 10 again. His mother admits she's not getting him into bed until after 11 most nights. He woke in such a good mood but letting him stay in bed means the other kids can't watch cartoons and end up in my bedroom while I shower and dress. They're all outside now and Brayden can see them through the window. He keeps yelling 'NO''Don't'. That's about all his vocabulary other than mama, dada and baba. Pretty good for a 10 month old boy with 2 big sisters tho.

I think, Allie, working parents feel guilty that they have so little time with their children that they try to keep them up later to be together and it becomes a bad habit. He has to be up and in the car by 5:30 a.m.!!! He's three years old! The other kids who come at 6:15 go to bed at 7:30 except on church nights when they get home about then.

How sad. I guess I just don't understand since I don't have kids. I would like to think my little ones would be in bed by 8:30. That's too bad that don't have more time together as a family.

I don't have to tell mine to go to bed. JT goes to be between 8:30-9, nightly and Jordan usually around 10, even on most weekends.

Brent goes to bed at 9:00 on school nights and 10:00 on the week-ends, except on some Friday nights when we rent an extra long movie for our 'family night'.

Regardless of what's going, he always falls asleep by 11:00 at the latest. I usually go to bed about 1/2 hour after he does.

Hubby goes to bed earlier than both of us because he is working 10 hour days and gets up at 4:00 every morning.
