When my kids were little, my husband worked very irregular hours. I never worried about a regular bedtime for them. It wasn't because I worked outside the home because I didn't.
When they got older, my husband's work schedule had adjusted, and they went to bed earlier anyway to get up for school.
Although they would still stay up later during the summer.
I betcha Ty will do just fine, and that it won't hurt him a bit to sleep in at your house instead of watching a few cartoons.
