Yes, I did, MK, but just barely! I have three bushes to plant now, but it is so hot that I'm wondering if they'd do better leaving them in the pot for awhile and keeping them watered really well...

Pebbles! Welcome to the Coffee House! I hope you become a regular. It is a nice respite from the debate forums. ;)

Here I am! Ty came at 5:45 and grandmother number one had said she'd be here between 6 and 7 with the three kids but it was after 8:30 and all were starving! Got them settled but then the kids uncle and aunt had a 'here comes the baby' emergency so the grandmothers plans all changed. Kelsey plays educational games on my computer all day but she needs a lot of guidance. She's just turned 7 tho.

Ty baptized McKinzey with sand. Kelsey ran through the kitchen with her arms swinging and knocked over a full glass of Pepsi onto my clean floor. I gave the kids watermelon with lunch and while I got Brayden down for his nap, they decided to have a seed spitting contest in the kitchen.

I did get Nick to the barber shop. Thursday is kids day so a $3.00 savings. I emptied and cleaned out the fridge and did some laundry. My mother is supposed to come tomorrow which makes me a little nervous. This time I'll be too fat and my house will be too dirty. Usually I'm too thin and my house is too clean.

So, Jim's still at work way over in Conyers chasing bugs and mice, LOL,

. He's in line for a promotion to corporate. They told him about it today, but it can't be until they hire more salesmen and get them trained. It's a guaranteed salary.

It also has a bigger vehicle and all gasoline is provided with unlimited use by the family members.

Sand, soda and watermelon seeds! That's the just the way to baptise a clean kitchen floor. You beat my kids attempt. They only spilt nacho cheese(or maybe it's grape koolaid) on mine. They tried to wipe it up, but I still have a nice sticky place on my floor. I only discoverd this when I walked through to thaw some meat for supper. At least you have the excuse of small children. All the ones I have here are 10 or older.

Great news about the promotion! Gaurenteed salaries are very nice things to have!

My bugs got chased today. Poor bugman, my house was spilling over with kids and not exactly clean.

Son needs a haircut too. We've always kept it very short like T wears his. This summer though he decided he wanted to see how he liked it long. I told him so long as I could see his ears and his collar, it could grow. I didn't mean it! I can't stand it and it's driving me up the wall! Too bad T is making me stick to my word. :(

Well I'm tired now. I've done laundry, mopped and cleaned out my bedroom/sewingroom/computerroom and done some sewing. Thank goodness I didn't have to go out today.

I'm tired too and the 3 kids will be here before 6:00 tomorrow but only until afternoon. They've only been gone a short while. Jim's still out working or driving and I need to get some chores done that can't be done once the house is filled with kids so I'll be offline tonight. Hopefully I can get some good sleep! Haven't heard from mother and she does have a tendancy to change plans without notice.

Night all!

Weather Update! It is now raining. The one and only thundershower in the whole state is sitting on top of us! Stupid wind blew out the grill flame. I guess we'll eat at midnight!

Good morning all:

Where's Tony? He always posts in the wee hours of the morning! Praying he's all right!

MK: You got rain? I'm jealous!

Diane: Have a nice visit with your mother.

Hot and muggy here again today. Brent and I have some more running to do.

I have an appointment with the Podiatrist and then we have to drive to Mt. Pulaski (about 14 miles) to pick up a night stand from a FreeCycler.

Then, back home to Lincoln, and Ace Hardware, and Krogers. That will take up most of our morning.

Cruising,

Sue, we got just about 5 min. of rain. Mostly we got just enough lightning to keep me from finishing cleaning the deck. Another 30 minutes and I'd of been done. I was dark by the time the storm was over so I'll finish this morning.

Then while I have enough kids to help me, I'm going to set up the screen gazebo I got for Mother's Day and the hammock we got T for Father's Day.

I need to make a grocery run myself this morning but I just don't want to! I guess I'll make it sometime today.

Ya'll all have a good day!

Tony's under a lot right now and he and Viv have MUCH on their plate. Let's please keep them in prayer all through our day!

Sue, did I miss an update on Brent's poison ivy? I saw a lengthy story on the AJC about poison ivy and how the dead vine can still 'infect you' for 5 years. I wanted to suggest Dale dig it up. Do NOT burn the vine! The article said it can get into the lungs!!! YIKES. I didn't want to post it and alarm you but felt like Brent should be much better by now.

Cindi, our ground is wet but I don't know if it rained during the night. I slept hard but then had to be up at 5:30. I'm nervous about my mother coming. She can be quite critical of EVERYTHING and is so very negative.

Well Brayden JUST woke up. The grandmothers are letting the children stay up til VERY late, playing, and he was worn out.

Now I can vacuum!

Diane: Brent's poison ivy is MUCH better! He still has a few spots on his arm. He is still putting steroid ointment on it, and still taking the Amoxicylin, but he finished the Prednisone.

Dale found the poison ivy vines growing on the sides of two trees. He dug them up and took them to the landfill while Brent was at camp.

We just finished with our running and it is VERY hot and humid! Supposed to break some 100º records this week and next. It is only going to get 'down' to 88º tonight...

We are going to start digging post holes for a white picket fence along the front of our property and half-way down both sides tomorrow.

We called "JULIE" and have had all kinds of utility trucks out here marking their territory.

So far, we are in the clear, but each utility uses a different color paint for the markings and our front lawn looks like a parrot!

Haven't done any running yet. Doesn't look like I'm going to so it's a good thing we're having pizza tonight!

I do have a nice screen gazebo now sitting on my nice clean deck. I'm not real satisfied with it as it doesn't seem as sturdy as I'd like. But it'll do for the time being and T can sturdy it up when he gets home. We may even move it to a different spot.

LOL Sue! When they ran the gas lines a few years back, our yard look the same way.

Hey Debby! I'd wondered how you'd been doing.

Sounds like you need some creative teenagers to give you some help. We use ours for just about everything.(with some adult supervision)

Anyway, VBS always works in the end.

Your picnic sounds like fun. Ours is next weekend sometime and whoever is in charge is having Dreamland BBQ cater. Church folks are providing dessert and funding.

I am soo frustrated this evening. I've been trying to find someone to do the excavating we need done before the pool goes in and I can't find anyone. I haven't even been able to get someone on the phone! I got only got one answering machine!

Well, the fence is picked up and in the utility shed. We can't start putting it up until 'JULIE' gets done and that won't be until Monday afternoon...

Brent and I are watching 'Bambi' so I will bid you all a good night and pleasant dreams!

Good morning all:

Is everyone sleeping in this morning?

I had a wonderful night's sleep (didn't bump my toe once)!

Unfortunately, the Dr. won't let me do the outside work I would like to, but there is always plenty to do inside...

How are you all on this lovely Saturday morning. I find myself watching a past law and order episode I missed this week. I've been so busy sleeping and working I don't get to get around here much. But the Dizzyness is slowly subsiding. Maybe, I'll just wiggle out of that MRI
.. Maybe.

I'll talk to you guys later [lots of hugs]

Hi guys, my mother is here til tomorrow and I'm babysitting the little one with a 'touch' of Cerebral Palsy today for about 4 hours. He's sleeping now. We've watched a number of Gaither Videos this morning.
thumbs.gif

Oh did I sleep well! Didn't hear a sound until the phone rang twice at 9:30. Don't know who it was because they hung up too soon.

It's a lovely 80°'s today with a chance of an afternoon shower. I'd have loved to do some yard sales today but can't and babysit at the same time.

Jim had an appt. today, 2 hours each way and the people stood him up. Not a happy camper!

Evening all...

A lot is going on here right now. We got a call from Viv's sister in Augusta this afternoon after she had talked to the doctors about Viv's mom. The doctor said that Viv's mother won't be going home to live by herself. They do believe the mass on her lungs is cancer and are continuing testing. It seems to be fast growing. Viv's mom is not physically strong enough to take chemo or radiation so they give her 2 to 4 months tops and 2 weeks at the least. We have to go to Augusta next Thursday night because Viv holds power of atty. Her mom is probably going to be living with Viv's aunt until she passes.

I am now on a patch for killing some of the pain in my lower back. Can't remember what I posted, or if I posted, but L3-L5, S1-S2, and the tailbone are all involved. The disks are very much herniated and bulging. They were surprised that I was walking...period. They gave me some painkillers and I go for a shot of steroids and painkillers directly into the disks on Tuesday morning. I've been very physically ill since, nausea wise. I'm physically & mentally worn out with all that's going on with myself and Viv's mom. Viv's just worn down...having a dying mother and a very much disabled husband isn't easy, but she's a trooper. She reminded me this morning "God is good, all the time"!

The hemoglobin results were lower than the last time, also. But, again...God is in control. If I have to have more transfusions then I guess that's what God wants.

Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and a great Lords Day! Our pastor is in Florida at DisneyWorld, so please pray he has a wonderful vacation!
