Evening all...
A lot is going on here right now. We got a call from Viv's sister in Augusta this afternoon after she had talked to the doctors about Viv's mom. The doctor said that Viv's mother won't be going home to live by herself. They do believe the mass on her lungs is cancer and are continuing testing. It seems to be fast growing. Viv's mom is not physically strong enough to take chemo or radiation so they give her 2 to 4 months tops and 2 weeks at the least. We have to go to Augusta next Thursday night because Viv holds power of atty. Her mom is probably going to be living with Viv's aunt until she passes.
I am now on a patch for killing some of the pain in my lower back. Can't remember what I posted, or if I posted, but L3-L5, S1-S2, and the tailbone are all involved. The disks are very much herniated and bulging. They were surprised that I was walking...period. They gave me some painkillers and I go for a shot of steroids and painkillers directly into the disks on Tuesday morning. I've been very physically ill since, nausea wise. I'm physically & mentally worn out with all that's going on with myself and Viv's mom. Viv's just worn down...having a dying mother and a very much disabled husband isn't easy, but she's a trooper. She reminded me this morning "God is good, all the time"!
The hemoglobin results were lower than the last time, also. But, again...God is in control. If I have to have more transfusions then I guess that's what God wants.
Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and a great Lords Day! Our pastor is in Florida at DisneyWorld, so please pray he has a wonderful vacation!
