Good morning all:

It is 33º this morning heading for a high of 34º.

The wind is howling very loudly so the temp feels even colder. It is going to drop down to 18º tonight.

That's not going to put a cramp in my birthday plans though! Brent and I are still going out-of-town to the Mall and we're going to eat lunch someplace I've never eaten before.

Well if it makes you feel better. Here, at the moment, its 19C (about 66F) and will get much warmer as Spring and Summer progress.

Kiwimac, I guess you deserve your warm temps, since you've survived your winter. Us poor Americans get to gripe about how cold it's getting, how much our power bills are(mine was like $500 for the month of August! I hope heat doesn't cost as much as air did this summer), and how our arthritis is hurting!

Howdy folks!

I'm having quite the nice morning here. The Lord has blessed this month financially, and I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel we've been in for the last couple of years! This also means that I don't have as many anxiety attacks when someone mentions money. I think that's the best part!

It's quite cold here this morning, only 42 degrees(about 5 C). Brrrr! I don't like winter. Hopefully next week we'll be back to at least fall temps.

I have some shopping to do this morning and some general running around. Gotta get gas, but the price at the expensive station was $2.29 so that shouldn't be too bad and I can probably get it cheaper if I drive a mile down the road to the cheap station.

Oh Thankful, poor little muffin. That makes me sad!!!!! I hope he perks up soon. Maybe he did just get a little spooked by something.

It's 1:15 in the afternoon and 84 degrees!! We've already passed the forecasted high of 82. But it's supposed to get down to 38 in the morning and 65 tomorrow. So I guess we're gonna have a chill in the air for a couple days.

Good afternoon, everyone! I think Muffin is a little better. I took him on to the groomers. Actually, the groomer knows a lot about dogs. In the past, He has diagnosed problems before the vet has.

I'll post later. My day has been so hectic that I actually relaxed when I got to the Dentist's Chair.

Reminds me of the good old days. How do you young moms do it?

Good Morning everyone!!

It's a chilly 24 here in Bell Buckle this morning, but so envigorating!

CHIPSGIRL, Congrats! It's been nearly 22 years for me and my bride, and if I had to do it all over again, I would.

Things here are getting back to normal. Vivian only works two days next week, and then I have another round of spinal injections on Wednesday morning. We haven't found out if my mom is coming for Thanksgiving or not. One of my sisters from Augusta might be coming up with her son, too. That would be good if they could.

Please, be in prayer for my little sister, Becky. She's going through a lot right now. She's not sure if she can move to Augusta or not because of her ex's antics. It's really beginning to make some of us in the family a little upset with him. But, we know God is in control of all things.

Good morning all and thank you so much for the birthday wishes (and the chocolate cake)!

I had a wonderful day yesterday shopping with my daughter and grandson. I can hardly remember the last time I laughed and cut-up so much!

Hubby will probably lock me up so I can't spend anymore money for awhile though.

I DID save money on LUNCH by getting both a birthday and a Senior discount.

I am off to take Shawna's wheelchair back to her. It is still in the trunk of the car and she may need it today.

Yes, glad to hear you had a great birthday, Sue! I was swamped yesterday, so I didn't read much of the BB.

Our IT office announced yesterday that as a security measure, all web traffic was going to be logged, and eventually some will be locked out. That means they will know every site everyone visits at work. Don't know if that will hamper my checking in with all of you, but it might. We'll see.

Praise God for the fall chill in the air! I was really getting tired of the balmy, dampness hanging around. This crisp fall weather makes me want to strap on a drum and go march on a football field! I still do miss that from high school.

Glad you had an enjoyable birthday, Sue. Sorry I missed it yesterday.

My hands are still frozen as I finished the shingles on my workshop roof. Not dangerous, but sure uncomfortable and it is tough typing.

Below freezing here with a sharp cold wind blowing from the west. It tried to snow several times, and I fear it won't be long before that heavy snowfall arrives here from Winnipeg. I would welcome that balmy 40f!
