Thankful, you're watching a ball game? On purpose?
I used to enjoy them, now I just can't.
My toe is really not that bad now, as long as I don't step off of stuff leading with that foot. Found that out...twice.
The potatos have issues with my oven. They smell WONDERFUL, but they're kinda not cooking all the way because I must have overfilled the dishes (I made two of them) or they're just bubbling over and making a lot of smoke, so I kept the doors and windows open and kept opening the oven and fanning the smoke out the door so maybe it wasn't hot enough for them to cook all the way.
Giving them a break now!
It just occurred to me that maybe I could put them in a bigger dish. DUH
Ok ANYHOW! I have a cause and effect essay due Monday, I'm thinking I have the perfect topic. There certainly were enough effects today, now I just need to pinpoint the major cause. First person to say "your stupidity" gets a really mean and long sideways glare!
On a happier note, I bought facial moisturizer. That may not sound like cause for great joy, but it's like a milestone for me. I've always refused to use it, it always reminded me of this one lady I really disliked who used it everyday. But...my face has been really dry for a number of years, so I broke down and bought a container of Pond's dry skin cream. Used it twice so far, I like it. (and it's not the same kind she used)
While I was buying it, I saw stuff for getting rid of blackheads.
So I wondered...I have them, AND I have dry skin. Am I doomed? If I use the formula, which is drying, and then use moisturizer, which can block pores, do they cancel each other out? Do they both do their job? Do they make a moisturizing acne treatment? If they do, is it self-defeating?
I never got into all this beauty stuff. (which may just explain the prince-in-abscencia-issue)
Alright, I better shut up and get busy figuring out these potatos and doing my essay.
You all have a good evening.
