Hey, hello Lady Sheila! Good to see you up bright and early (at least in our time zone).

How is the weather over there? Do you have any snow?

Lady Sue, the pictures you posted yesterday were great - especially the one in the middle!

I am glad Brent liked his present. Wishing him a belated birthday. I remember when Lenke and I got a microscope for our older daughter on her birthday. She spent a lot of time watching through the eyepieces. Finished at Barnard College (which is an all girl school for Columbia University), and majored in biology. Today she is teaching biology and physics. Brent has a long way to go yet. Wishing him God's speed. He is an impressionable and bright young man.

Bro. Jim, I'd like to know how your project went, while your significant other was vacationing in Florida?

da Gina, you are not a mother you are trying to describe to us.
We know you better. Hope your back ache disappeared when you started to clean up. You know, the Germans had this sign over their concentration camps: "Arbeit Macht Frei". I hope you are free from your pain as well.

Hope you folks, who walk into the Common Ground Coffee House are well. Here in Chappaqua, NY., the weather is cloudy. We are expecting rain for late tonight and all day Saturday. It will snow on Sunday. Temperature is 36°F but will go up to a toasty 52°F sometime in the afternoon. Have a blessed day all in the Lord!

Good Morning Everyone!

No whining this morning. At least not yet!

It is yucky and rainy and the thunderstorms scared the dogs so much that I had to put two of them in the garage and the other one is in the house! The cat isn't to sure about him, she wants to make friends but knows that this is the dog with the loudest bark. She decided that the library was probably a good place to hide out till mom puts the dog back out. Before that she was sitting on the stairs looking down at him with the bottle brush tail, alternating meowing and hissing at him. Poor dog was just laying there chewing on a rawhide.

He really just didn't care.

Pray, hubby just called and said he's been in a wreck!

MK, that's great news! The bad news is when someone ELSE has to call to let you know there's been a wreck. I know even seemingly minor ones can have long term effects though. Let us know what's up with him when you can, ok?

I slept so peacefully, and in no pain at all.
It was mah-ve-lous!

Hopefully the computer shop was able to salvage some information off my old hard drive. It's had been through two people before I could track it down and get it back, so I'm a little worried about what content is on there. I asked if I could come in and just pick out what I wasnted put on the discs, but the man said it would be easier to burn off the whole folder, and cost me less. I guess I'll just have to make sure nobody else is around when I put the CD in!

Everyone have a good morning. :D

Good luck, Gina.

I paid $40.00 to have the computer shop transfer my files, from my old computer to my new computer, and half of them I can't even open. :(

Cindi, let us know as soon as you hear something.

Barnabas, Brent was not supposed to take that picture when I had my mouth open, but that is how he is used to seeing me!

Sheila, Brent is such a grateful boy. Every present he receives, for anything, is the 'best' present he's ever gotten. :D

Good Morning to you Barnabas. No, no snow here at the moment. This link will lead you to our weather at the moment:http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2024

Sue, Brent sounds like a lovely young man. He certainly seemed to be enjoying his birthday treat in the pictures you posted.

I haven't made bread for ages but the supermarket didnt' have the bread we like in stock so I think I am going to have a go at making my own again. I will look in later,

Blessings

Sheila

Sue, they are my two granddaughters who live in Florida and that is their horse. The photos were taken when they had completed a competition. The younger one, Emily, 6, got the first place ribbons, and Courtney, 13, got a fifty dollar prize, placing first in the jumps.

Thanks for asking...My pride and joy,

Cheers,

Jim

Thanks, Jim. Nice pictures!

Did you know after you click on the link to the picture - if you hold your mouse on the bottom right-hand corner, a little box will come appear with arrows? Click on that and the picture will magnify even more.

LOL Gina! I guess you're right!

T wasn't hurt at all. There also wasn't anything wrong with the truck that wasn't wrong with it before. Just we have to stop dragging our feet and get it fixed, NOW!

He had two tires that needed replacing, and we knew it and had the money, but not the time. Those tires caused him to hydroplane off the road, across a field and into the edge of the woods where a bunch of small trees stopped his progress. He missed some big trees that could have made this much worse. The brush guards that I had pooh poohed him installing last year protected the body from any damage that we could see(there might be some minor scratches, but we weren't going to stand in the pouring rain looking for them!).

When they pulled him off the trees and up to clear ground, we could see something hanging down underneath. It was the muffler that we had discovered just a couple of weeks ago needed replacing. Hanging down or not, it was still working fine. T drove the truck to the shop just to be sure there's not something wrong that we couldn't see. The shop was a good 10 miles from the scene, so I doubt they'll find anything.

So we'll get off with replacing two tires(he's not driving on them again), the muffler and a front end alignment, and the bill for the tow truck. We've had our blessing for the week.

PTL!

Frankly, they like their photos hanging anywhere in our house...No modesty with those two. If you look at the next photo, they were actually a part of a Christmas card we sent out to wife's business clientelle.

Cheers,

Jim

We got some more snow today, and we're at about 28 degrees. Great day. I'm feeling like I'm completely healed, praise God.

I've just noticed it's Friday the 13th. But it's bad luck to be superstitious.......

Everyone have a great day.

We were supposed to get a rain/snow mix, but for the last two hours it has been just snow. It was 60º here just yesterday!

The snow is not sticking to the roads, but it is covering the trees, grass, and cars...

Bro. Curtis, I'm glad you're feeling all better!

Hello All...
Bro Curtis, glad you are feeling better.
Bro Curtis and Sue, I am turning deep green! NO SNOW HERE! It's just, too, well...too sunny outside!!! :(

Thankful

Good Morning, All. The CH has certainly been busy this morning. I've been trying to catch up.

That breakfast really looked good, Sue. I could never see what was in the microscope. We will blame my glasses.
laugh.gif
My Chemistry teacher would get so excited with what she would see. I kept trying to see it, but at least I did the experiments correctly even if I couldn't see what I was doing. Probably helped, huh?

It is so great to see everyone this morning. Sorry to say, that Oklahoma is still burning. It is only 50 degrees, but the wind is still high.

Glad T is okay!

Glad Bro. Curtis is feeling better.

Jim, my niece teaches children how to ride horses and has been in lots of competitions herself. She would love to have her own children's camp someday.

Barnabas, good to see you!

Gina, I'm still looking forward to the tea party.

Have a great day, everyone

Betty

Thanks for the weather link for your area of the woods Sheila! Unfortunately in the UK they still use the old temperature measuring guide, so now I need a temperature from C° to F°

It is the laundry area and was drywalled, folding door on closet and even painted. There was a lot of odd cuts which made the job harder. I still have some trim to put on and doors to make for the shelving unit at left end.

Thanks for asking. Wife was quite pleased,,as was I.

Cheers,

Jim
WOW! Bro. Jim, you are quite talented! A man with many hats. Good job. Thanks for sharing....
