I put the fallen limb on FreeCycle and someone came and chopped it up today and hauled it away for firewood. I'm relieved because I didn't want Dale out there working on it. They got 2 pick-up truck loads out of it. It was LARGE...

I sent them a picture before they got here and they wanted to know if that was the whole tree! I said, "Nope, that's just one of the limbs."

I hid some black walnuts for BH. It will give her something to do. If she can find them, she can have them...

I'm going to say good night and pleasant dreams!

I so TOTALLY forgot to send cards...it's New Year's today (Chinese New Year)
I have them sitting and signed and addressed to those who celebrate it...and just totally forgot, so we didn't do anything either. Shame, because the cards were pretty pricey.
Then again, it's not like there were any reminders around here. LOL

I also forgot that my daughter's appointment is Wednesday, not tomorrow.

I'm just a total mess! A mess with a headache and a test tomorrow.

Church was good. We had a visitor so I got to meet someone new, an elderly man who was there by himself. Half of everyone else was missing because of illness, so it was a small gathering, but the teaching really was timely and effective.

Oh man. And no envelopes for the girls. EKE! This is the first year they've not gotten a money envelope for N'Years. Guess they'll have to be poor for the year. Wait a minute...it didn't work the other years! I just noticed...HA!

The girls just handed me the phone, it's their uncle calling to say Happy New Year. LOL Ok so not only did I not send a card, I didn't call. OOPS
Ya know, I lose a lot of friends this way...I don't think people really believe I'm this big of an airhead, but I really am! They think I don't care or I'd remember. I'm telling ya, it's SO not true!
It is also what makes me a great friend too! I don't remember a whole lot of what anyone does to me. LOL It has to be pretty painful or it's just WHOMP...gone.

Ok, I'm gonna go in search of food. I know it's someout out there.

Boy, all you all got me in a mess. I let BH out fri. nite & forgot about the lockdown. I couldn't get her till I came back THIS morning & whew! she let me have it. Something bout another BH, & some scary guy in a bowtie..., they even had HER rocking chair!! She assured me if she wasn't crippled she'd a giv'em what for!! But she calmed down a little when I showed her the 5 gallon bucket of pecans I picked up for her Sat. Just don't tell her I'm using some in the pies!
Sue she proably will bury the walnuts in the corners & different places...she looks like she's about to pop now!
Gener if ya need some food, we got homemade chili left!!

It's 38 and falling here.

Last night was our pastors last service. Vivian and I didn't get to go. The associate takes over as of today.

Other than that, not much going on here. We did have some heavy downpours on Saturday evening and woke up to some minor flooding Sunday.

Good morning all,

It is 37º this morning and we are supposed to get some snow/rain today and just rain by Wednesday. We had rain Saturday and Sunday.

I will be working in the kitchen, plus doing laundry this morning, while Brent is doing school.

Tonight is Dale's last 'hardy' meal until Wednesday so I thought I'd fix him something 'special'. I haven't decided what that will be just yet. I need to wake up first.

Good morning.

Preacher, the kind I got last night have landed me in the ER everytime but this time. I was shocked and happy that this one didn't. I wasn't kidding when I said I tried to get hit by a car before when I had one. They get worse and worse until I only have a vague idea about where I am and what I'm doing. But...they don't happen often. It's only when they're left sided, sudden onset, and I feel it in a "zig zag" shape. Sounds weird, but it's what sets it apart from the other migraines! This one was very odd in that it came with intense lower back pain.
There's a certain little kid that has had a bad week and I prayed to have her pain, so I'm wondering if that was it. I've gotta start praying that it just goes away instead, but I wanted to know how it felt and where, figured I could know what to do for her more if I know what it's like.

I'm gonna make some tea and get studying for a test I've gotta take in a few hours! I didn't realize I was going to be in class today, so I didn't do much studying for it at all. Usually I don't have to though, so much of everything is just common sense, as long as it isn't math.

I got this machine that I'm gonna use to make the tea. It's pretty neat. It's a "froth and sauce" machine. At 75% off I had to try it! So far I really like it, it'll be neat to use to make coffee drinks too if I ever get around to it!

Twenty minutes to type this?! Wow. It's gonna be a long day! My brain is working on half time. "what is the half life of a..." nevermind...hehehe
