Huh? Oh well just an update...I guess my wife will have to settle for plain ole regular Win98. For some reason it won't upgrade to SE. Keeps failing to copy files & this is my second go-round with it. The CD may be bad though it worked fine the last time I used it. She won't be on the net with it so mabey it won't matter so much. I'm giving it one more chance then it's becoming a mini-freesbie!! This means I'll have to re-format & do it all again, Agee better be glad I like...er... love her! Though as Jimmy Stewart once said in a movie, " you can love a gal...but it's more important to like her!!"
Guess I'll take a break & go get Sam some dog food, every time I've gone outside she's lickin her lips & eyeballin me!!

Evening..uh I mean Morning!
Well I've learned that some things, once again, don't always go according to plan. Jerry's puter is streamlined, but Agee's is having heart failure. I've been on & off that machine all day & still ain't working right. Don't know what I've done wrong...but I done it good!!
Even BH can't figure it out, so I know I'm in trouble. She's sleeping in her rocker after about 3 hours of running around her chair in our living room. Guess I'll try to help her keep an eye on this empty place, I mean there ain't even any fresh snacks around, or was it my turn to bring'em? Preacher Was Forgetful? (for you SFIC)!!
Actually here in the real world I guess I'll head to bed & try again, mabey on Monday of next year! Have a blessed night & morning!

Morning all:

It's cold here this morning. Can't believe we had nearly 70 yesterday and 27 this morning with a wind chill of 19. Strange weather we've been having the past few weeks.

Viv and I drove over to Hoovers Gap, TN where a friend and former co-worker of ours is the pastor. We decided to visit there in the morning. The church there has continued to grow and has doubled in attendance over the past five or so years. Some of our old co-workers attend there and we want some time to recover from the events of the last two churches. They only have one service a week, so it will be nice.

Well, I just heard the alarm in the bedroom go off and Viv turning it off, so I'd better go. Coffee time here in TN.

Good morning all,

Preacher - I want Agee's PC fixed by February 29th!

I thought it was going to be nice today, but it is a crisp 27º and going to be in the 30's all day. Oh well, at least the sun is shining.

Time to wake everyone up. We let Brent ride the bus to Sunday School every week so he can fellowship with his friends. That means he has to be ready to go by 8:30.

1 Dozen Cake
2 Dozen Glazed
3 Dozen Assorted Powdered and Filled

Napkins are on the table.

5 Carafe's Piping Hot Coffee@@
2 Carafe's Hot Chocolate &
1 Carafe Hot Water for Tea or Hot Apple Cider.

Mornin,
Agee must not feel good, she's still in bed,(yes I've been up awhile!)I let her sleep as long as she wants. She don't sleep well most nites.
I was looking at my hands & they look sad, like someone stuck them in the middle of a porcupine! Thats what BH's little claws do to me.
The d-nuts hit the spot, along with a cold DP!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Gonna be another busy day at the menagerie.

At 1 o'clock we have the kids baskeball awards (complete with ice cream sundaes). I'm pretending to be the coach today cause the real coach is headed off to see a Bama basketball game with his wife. All it really means is I have to see to it that five little girls get their awards. (this is as close to coaching as I want to get :eek: )

When that is done, we're going to have to give it up and go shopping for a new couch. I'm very unhappy about it as we just bought a new couch 4 years ago, Lane replaced it because the upholstery tore, and then two years ago it started tearing again. Now it has gotten so bad that it is uncomfortable to sit on. Of course the warrenty on it was only a year. I can tell you this much, the new one won't be from Lane.

Then it will be time for the real excitment of the day. RALLY CAR RACING! Yep, it's time for the RA's pine derby race. Weigh in's start at 4. Church starts at 6ish (we're getting sung to by our Solid Rocker's choir, can you guess why they are called that?) and then the race will be after that.

I sure hope the excitement doesn't give the kids migraines. It gets LOUD when all those kids get to cheering. Maybe take earplugs tonight.

Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday. Maybe I'll be back today, if not, I'll see ya'll tomorrow!

I don't know what's got into me, but I could live off sfr and wt soup right now. More than that, I was about in tears yesterday craving both those, and to stay home. I couldn't figure out how to both get it and stay home, so I threw a fit instead, then went and got it.

Hope you all have a good day at church. We're home this week, gonna go for next week when we're all in good health!

Plus I think I'm getting cheesecake for staying home. Proof that God still loves me.

In light of this, the whole world's gone wrong.

Now I have no cheesecake, no fried rice and no wonton soup, my dog ran away, my paper isn't finished, and the sun DARES to shine! :eek:

Good afternoon all,

Church was very good this morning and we had a packed house. Wonderful sermon and guess what? It was just what I needed to hear... :eek:

Preacher just HAD to show a picture of his new granddaughter on the large screen. I think he has 8 or 9 grandchildren now and he's doing it just to catch up with me!!!! :rolleyes:

We ate dinner at Bonanza, then made quick trips to Wally World and Krogers.

My legs were swollen today anyway and when I got home I dropped a large, heavy box on one. Now it is swollen AND black and blue. I may stay home tonight...

But, just in case I go - it's officially NAP TIME.

That's a lot of grandkids. Lots of business for Wally World too, probably!

I miss my church group, will look forward to going next week for certain.

How did you know that us squirrels evolved from apes?? It's been a well guarded secret for over 30,000,000 years. Please refrain from spreading this any further, you see we have advanced so far beyond our "cousins" that it would cause an absolute tirade if they ever really discovered these facts. If you reveal these facts to anyone else you could be in serious danger, er...I mean the possibility of extinction, er no wait..I mean the Preacher could help me...no he just said I'm on my own here,...all right, then here it is!!!...Pleeeeze don't tell no one else!!

I'm not really that fast. I just happened to check in when we got home. :D

I decided to stay home tonight and keep my legs up. The swelling hasn't gone down and I've been in the recliner since 4:00.

I have a stool under my desk to put my feet on, but I don't even feel like doing that so I am heading back to the recliner and going to bed early.
