Anything is possible at sideshows. I even paid five pence to see a horse with its head in the wrong place. It was my total allowance.

    Cheers,

    Never.
I admit...I hate circuses. I won't go. I went to the town fair a few times in Ohio with the kids, and even that was a bit much, but circuses? NO WAY.

I probably scarred my kids for life just with the fair.

"See the elephants girls? Do you know why they're swaying like that? Can you pronounce psy-co-tic? It comes from wanting the money an elephant for show brings, more than you want to take care of the elephant. See how it choked when it was fed a whole loaf of bread? That's because elephants don't wander through the African jungle eating loaves of Wonder Bread!

And then there's the acrobats and such. Listen to Jackie Chan's childhood story and then tell me how cool it is that we spend money to support this stuff.

Plus, places like that usually have clowns and I am totally flipped out by them. Clowns are the things my nightmares are made of. AGH!

And through it all, I just know that Wal-Mart is somehow to blame. [IMG]

Ok, now that SFIC is all riled up, my job is done.

Gina, I'm sure WalMart is to blame. They are to blame for everything! (and if you don't believe me, I've got a site to send you to where the mere mention of the word will send people into a psy-cho-tic frenzy. ((Sometimes I mention it just for fun or because things are slow :D )) )

Walmart has destroyed a lot of mum and pop shops........someone should speak out against them.

That is true about Walmart, but unfortunately the same is true of most every chain, from bookstores to hardware stores to restaurants.
