    Good morning all!

Tony: You'd best get to the doctor. Pneumonia will NOT go away without antibiotics and can be very dangerous if not treated properly!

Dan: Congratulations on number 7! I seem to remember having just 7 a loooooong time ago... [IMG]

Gina: Maybe the teacher just read the portfolios she thought would be interesting... :D

It is cold again this morning, but most of the snow is gone. It's not going to warm up until the end of next week, and then just to the fifties. Oh, Spring, where art thou???

I am taking supper to Jace's mommy and daddy tonight. They live in Atlanta (IL). It is about a 20 minute drive from here.

    Time for coffee,
    §ue (Grand AND Great) [IMG]

The sun is shining beautifully today! The devotion for class was about God's being with us each day regardless of the bright sun or the pouring rain. What a wonderful reminder!

    Thanks, Ed!

I thought maybe she was ill or the children had arrived and she was busy.

I knew it had to be something BIG to keep her from posting. [IMG]

Sue, I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow at 8am with my primary care physician. He wants to do my fasting blood sugar again since it's been high for the last three months. His nurse just mentioned insulin. I hope not. That's one reason I haven't gone....time for a panic attack! Viv's got an appointment at the same time. She needs antibiotics for her sinus infection.

With this strange weather, I'm surprised that more people aren't ill.

Oh, great...just got a call, and they want to test my blood for the anemia, too. They've got me scheduled for two more units of blood already at the hospital. It's on standby, that way if he decides (or I refuse) I'll not be charged for it. Lord, why do these doctors want to use up all my money?? :( [IMG]

    What strange weather?...
Just got back from pickin Agee up a computer desk, & two old kitchen cabinets. Shes cleaning them rite now & then I get to hang them in her sewing/computer/freezer/stuffed scooby doos/dolls & music box room!!! Thought I might get the little table back to put in here but the desk isn't that big so she'll still need it in there.
Have an interview in an hour with a furniture place bout a half mile from the house. Needing someone to set up saws. I think i can still do that.
Well Agee's hollerin' for me to get Sam some water...Have Wife..Will RUN!!!

Thursday afternoons, I do craft club with the girls. I am making a quilted bag. Most of them are scrapbooking. It's funny (a joyful funny) to watch them work so intently on something other than school work.

What's that supposed to mean?

Ah man, I was gonna leave it like that, but afraid you might take it seriously if I do, so I'll go ahead with what I know MY answer is.

I'm usually pretty easy to please. However, there are certain things, or times in my life, when I'm not. Here's what the cause usually is:

    1. I don't know what it would take to please me. I may say I want x and x and y, but then I change my mind.
Now, if I change my mind and have to say something about it, I will probably be a bit tense, and nervous about reaction to the change. Thus, if my change of mind is questioned, I will be more likely to respond harshly or have my feelings hurt, because I was already feeling more sensitive than usual.

    2. We have mood swings with rising/falling hormone levels, and they make us feel weird. Sometimes we don't recognize that, we just feel like things aren't right, so we try to fix them. Of course, nothing feels right because the problem isn't our surroundings, but we don't know that so we keep trying to fix it, and keep feeling frustrated.

    3. I'm more likely to take my emotions out on someone I love than on someone I don't love when I am upset, no matter what the cause. This is because I can't always express anger or that I'm upset with the people who cause it, like the cashier who was mean or the guy who flipped me off driving down the road. So...the first one I love who is in my path, if I let my sinful self take over, will most likely be the person I express that anger to. This is because I know it is a safe person to do this with. I'm not in public, I'm at home where I feel safer acting like an idiot.

There, hope that explains it. Now all the guys can quit asking, OK, OK? GOT IT?

Preacher, if Agee is letting you touch anything in her sewing room with the intention of moving it, you'd better check her for fever! And don't touch it! You must have misunderstood her and she really meant for you to rest until she gets back home and can supervise.

No one and I mean NO ONE touches my sewing stuff and I don't care which room it is presently residing in! Touching my sewing stuff will end in missing fingers!  Even the animals know better than to get around whatever I'm working on.

    Hey Everyone!

Been to busy to post the last couple of days. Current sewing project is taking up a lot of my time. That and writing yet another letter to the school system about what they are doing wrong.

Yesterday though was break day. Packed up husband and kids and drove over to Atlanta for the day. Went to see the Georgia Aquarium! It was to cool. But crowded! Oh man, was it crowded! And we won't talk about the rude people. What was funny though, is that as many kids as were there we only heard one or two of them having a tantrum. It was the adults that had the problem.

After that we went over to Lennox Square shopping. Should have gone to Phipps. I had high hopes of finding a few new clothes for myself. Nope, nada. Maybe I'm just to picky! Found some stuff for the girls though. Poor Chris was in the same boat as me. Couldn't find a single thing he liked. Of course, not many stores carry boys clothes in the size he wears. Lots of stuff for little boy and teenagers, nothing for the tweens.

Anywhoo, I'm around for the evening, maybe. Tomorrow and the next day will be busy again, until I can get these curtains done and hung. I was supposed to go hang one this evening so my customer could do a final approval, but I guess she got tied up cause she never called. Probably I'll go tomorrow, she doesn't work on Fridays.

Who, me not easy to please? Whatever gave you that idea? :D

I don't get it. 26 years with the same woman and I'm still clueless. I buy her chocolate and she says I'm trying to make her fat. I buy her a waffle iron for her birthday and she still wasn't happy when I said, "But, Honey, I thought you liked waffles?" Same thing when I got her that washer and dryer for our anniversary.

She needs tires for her car so guess what I got her on Valentine's Day? No, you're wrong. I bought flowers and she cried. I said, "Honey, I thought they'd make you happy." She's all snot faced and blubbers, "I am happy!" Ain't you supposed to smile when you're happy?

Now I'll have to go get tires for her car to make me happy.

That is one thing bout' my Agee...never in doubt what to buy.....long as I get something Scooby-Doo to go with it! So till they run out of ideas for that mutt I'm safe.
I took the above posted advice...(who says men don't listen?)... & waited till Agee got home from work. Now she can tell me how to arrange everything & how to hang the cabinets. One thing she hasn't realized yet, She's the same hight as where I'm mounting the cabinets, so I can balance them on her while I put the screws in! Better than a tommy!

Preacher, are you saying that you would use your wife - the woman you pledged to love, honor and cherish 'til death us do part - as a lowly device for holding up wall cabinets while you were running the power tools?

    I love you, man!!

padre - you're not getting it! You aren't supposed to buy your wife TOOLS, to do housework, for presents!

One time my husband bought me a riding lawnmower for Mother's Day (which was something *he* wanted!) So I bought him something *I* wanted for Father's Day... [IMG]

preacher - after 3 trips to the ER for stitches, after helping hubby with 'projects' over the years, I don't get within 10 feet of him if he has a power tool in his hand! And I'm NOT hard to please - as long as it's done the way I want it. :D

    Good morning all,

It is still cold here and we may get freezing rain/snow again today.

I may have a busy week next week so, just in case, I am doing the Monday chores today. Changing bed linen, laundry, dusting, etc. Sounds exciting, huh?

    Time for coffee,

I guess that 10-pack of bags for the Kirby ain't going to fly for an Easter basket, eh? Speaking of dirt bags, did I mention my daughter wants to get married?

LOL. Yes, you did. Sounds like it will be a very interesting in-law situation.

NO vacuum bags in the Easter basket! Low fat chocolate maybe? Ummmm, no, she might think YOU think SHE is fat. How about a gift certificate from Wal-Mart???
