I, like Jim, prefer the old format. Many of the links do not seem to work in the new format. Avatars are gone...

I think the parchesi thingy is an indicator that someone likes to play games.

Same here, Sue. This new format will take some getting used to. I have posted on other forums with this same format, so this isn't totally foreign to me. With any new format and upgrade there will be bugs--and I believe Andrew is working on them now. I did lose all my PMs and buddy list:tear:--guess I should have saved them--oh well.

I'm on several other forums like this one. Took me a while to get used to it, but it's got some good features. I don't know what the stars mean, but I'm not sending Jim money (especially after this weekend!).

Ah ha! I think I've figure out how to post!
After I fixed my time thingy that kept telling me that everyone had posted YESTERDAY! I was beginning to feel left out/dumb until I remembered I checked this morning to see if the board was back up and it wasn't.
Anyhow, this is the first chance I've had to sit down since then. We invited my sister/friend and her family over and stuffed ourselves all afternoon. That meant that I cooked today! So mark it on the calendar cause it may be a while before I bring myself to do it again!
Off to check out the rest the board.

After I fixed my time thingy that kept telling me that everyone had posted YESTERDAY! I was beginning to feel left out/dumb until I remembered I checked this morning to see if the board was back up and it wasn't.
Anyhow, this is the first chance I've had to sit down since then. We invited my sister/friend and her family over and stuffed ourselves all afternoon. That meant that I cooked today! So mark it on the calendar cause it may be a while before I bring myself to do it again!
Off to check out the rest the board.

Good Morning Everyone!
LOL! In just four days I have become very spoiled. T had to go back to work today and I had to get up!!! Noooooooo! We've been sleeping till at least 9 every morning and and and that clock! IT went right off at 6 o'clock this morning and woke us up! Thank goodness Bitsy had already woke up so she made us coffee this morning (I'm training my kids right ).
After two cups I'm finally awake and T's off to work. Means I've accomplished something already this morning. I've got more to accomplish today but don't exactly want to think about all I need to do. Much more fun to see what's going on here!
Bitsy's coffee is good so ya'll enjoy. I also left a pound cake on the counter that I made myself yesterday. Watch out for your sugar though. This was a new recipe so I didn't use splenda in it like I usually would. Now that I know the basic recipe works, I'll try the splenda next time.
