We have the same thing going here Tony. I got in the car for the first time today and it showed the temp as 103! Usually, I don't get such a high reading on start up unless the car is hot. Actual temp turned out to be 96! I can see the grass burning up. Not just mine, I looked to see how everyone else's grass was doing and it is all turning brown. I thought Centipede was supposed to like hot dry weather?
The bermuda that is growing in the back yard is doing much better. Makes me wonder if should overseed our centipede with something else.
Just make the beef as lean as possible and you won't have too big a problem from the fats. T also has to stick to a high protien/low carb diet so we eat a lot of beef.
I wonder though if eating raw dark green veggies would help you take in more iron? We eat quite a lot of baby spinach in our salads and rarely ever buy iceburg lettuce anymore. Iceburg lettuce contains very few nutrients. Romaine, bibb and leafy green or red lettuces are all much more nutritious. Our fav salad simply consists of baby spinich, mandarin oranges, red onion, a bit of feta cheese and whatever vinegrette salad dressing we have handy. Italian and Greek balsamic dressings are equally good with this one.
Ya'll know I'm sitting here on this computer because I don't want to face the mess I just made trying to clean up the mess that was under and behind the computer and sewing tables, don't you?
I really don't want to finish....
