My view of God's Sovereign determinism is what the Bible teaches, which by default means that you will never accept what the Bible teaches about God's Sovereignty. You show us this when you openly reject Romans 9.

Sorry Austin you are looking through your Calvinist glasses again. Your deterministic sovereignty is not found in the bible Calvinists read that in because of the pagan teachings that Augustine brought into the church and Calvin carried forward. As I have told you many times do some research, it is not hard to prove that the root of your theological philosophy comes from paganism.

Thanks for the typical Calvinist response.

The claim God does not choose individuals for salvation by utilizing their faith in Christ is fallacious
The claim individuals must hold the right doctrines in order for God to credit our faith as righteous faith is fallacious.

What we do know from scripture is God chooses those rich in faith who are heirs to the kingdom promised to those who love God. So a Catholic who believes errant doctrine, but loves Jesus and is deeply committed to Him could be chosen and someone who knows all the right doctrines but trusts his or her knowledge rather than Jesus might not be chosen.

That being said, we are not to tolerate false teachers and their false doctrine. We are to protect the pure gospel of Christ.

Van, we have shown you your error. [Snip]
You butcher the Bible and then get upset when you have been shown to be wrong, not by just one person, but by many. Please stop with your teaching which no other Christian teaches.

I have said before I get confused on this site, trying to figure out what goes where, and finding posts I've already made.

I mistakenly started this thread on the Calvinism & Arminianism Debate forum, and I've little interest in that debate. I will be cautious about which forum I'm on in the future, now that I'm finding my way around.
