You have to understand that Noncalvinists have a very small view of the Creator, and a bigger view of His creation. They actually think of God as existing in something bigger and independent of Himself, like the rules of math. It is impossible for them to see it otherwise.

However, it is impossible for God to lie. He would have to deny Himself to do that.

It is impossible because He is Holy, and could thus never desire to do it...not because He lacks the power.

How about we come to a common ground and all agree that "God cannot willingly sin?" Ok?

Or we could just go with Luke's view and say that He can and does do the "DEED," but it's not really sin if he does it for the right motive?

How about that he could do whatever he wants to, its just that due to his very nature, there are some things that He would NEVER want/purpose/Will to do!

, JesusFan clarified a fallacy. That is saying God “could” do something against His nature “if” He wanted to. God is Truth; therefore He “cannot” do something that is not in Truth. It is like the fallacy of suggesting God is able to make a rock so big even He can't lift it.

How is that different from "God cannot willingly sin?"

Notice the word "willingly" tells us that God cannot will/want to do something against His nature.

Now, is everyone happy? Can we kiss and make-up? :)
