I think it was mentioned in another thread, that people can be terminated under that system for anything the boss thinks warrants termination . An employer doesn't even have to argue that his employee's behavior may make his business look bad and scare away customers.

It will be interesting to watch how litigation generated in the last couple of weeks affects things nationwide as precedent is generated.

DOC is subject to due process. Private business can fire without cause, but they cant fire if that termination basis violates the Constitutional rights of the employee.

You know what, you are right, I got that one wrong. Forgive me as I was listening to police all over the country and the former cop on this board tell me it was not a taught technique any longer. Minneapolis didn’t get the memo I guess but reform and change happened as a result and now it will not be used. That is a good thing. That does represent progress.
