The face, hand & back of God would not resemble that of a human being, imho. Can the hand of a human being cover another in the cleft of a rock? No, of course not.Friends, once again, I'm going by what GOD ACTUALLY SAID. He mentioned His face, hand, & back, so I MUST believe that, for that occasion, God had those body parts. There's no suggestion in God's words that these parts were anything but actual.
God must always speak to us in a way we can understand. Since God is unique and there is nothing with which to compare to Himself, He references things we can comprehend...face, hand, back.
Even though the face, hand, back of God doesn't resemble humans (God is Spirit), we can comprehend what God is communicating to us.
Before I am accused of declaring that God lied, I am not saying that at all. God used references to physical things that we could understand to reveal truth about Himself that could otherwise not be understood, since we are flesh and He is Spirit.
