Friends, once again, I'm going by what GOD ACTUALLY SAID. He mentioned His face, hand, & back, so I MUST believe that, for that occasion, God had those body parts. There's no suggestion in God's words that these parts were anything but actual.
The face, hand & back of God would not resemble that of a human being, imho. Can the hand of a human being cover another in the cleft of a rock? No, of course not.

God must always speak to us in a way we can understand. Since God is unique and there is nothing with which to compare to Himself, He references things we can comprehend...face, hand, back.

Even though the face, hand, back of God doesn't resemble humans (God is Spirit), we can comprehend what God is communicating to us.

Before I am accused of declaring that God lied, I am not saying that at all. God used references to physical things that we could understand to reveal truth about Himself that could otherwise not be understood, since we are flesh and He is Spirit.

With all due respect...

Are you forgetting that GOD CAN DO ANYTHING?

If He chose to have hands, back, & a face for that occasion, how can anyone deny it, especially when HE SAID SO? Nothing He said indicates His body parts on that occasion were anything else besides what we know?

Again, I BELIEVE GOD'S WORDS EXACTLY. He mentioned those body parts, so, far as I'm concerned, He had them at that time.

No, the bottom line is that you can't actually discuss this issue with any understanding and you resort to this false accusation because you also don't have the moral character to represent the views of someone you disagree with fairly. Scripture, as I have pointed out many times before, is my prime authority. You are explicitly lying about me.

Hint: The Ignore function is a useful tool.

I'm about done with this.

GOD HIMSELF mentioned His face, hand, & back. Therefore I believe he had those parts when He appeared to Moses.

That's the bottom line. God said he had those body parts. I need no other proof nor explanation. All arguments against those facts are rendered moot by God's own words. He is the Supreme Authority, and if he said He had a face, hand, & back He had them. Any denial of this is calling GOD a liar!

Over & out!

You can say that all you want, but when you consistently wrest Genesis 1 to fit Evolutionary projections (because there are no observations) you make yourself the liar.

LOL. He says Jerusalem is in His hand.

He also speaks of the hand of the Philistines. Not hands. Hand. Singular. Do you imagine a tower with a great hand clutching their captives?

That does NOT cover "face" and "back", which God said He had.

Again, I go by what GOD HIMSELF said. There's NO higher authority! Bottom line.
