There are things that have gone on that you probably don't know about. Organizations that size always have things going on they like to cover up to keep their image up.Originally posted by Martin:

It is rather clear that you don't know much about SWBTS either.
==What don't I know about Southwestern? Have they done the same thing?

It is fact not gossip. Read it for yourself. So your accusation is unfounded. Don't accuse someone before you know the facts.Originally posted by Joseph_Botwinick:
GB,
Spill it...what do you know and how do you know it? If you have no actual accusation or evidence, perhaps you should cease your defamation and gossip.

It sounds like there was an admission of guilt of moletation somewhere in there. I'm suprised that the police weren't brought in.Originally posted by Martin:
As Weblog noted in 2001, Jon Gerrit Warnshuis was apparently expelled from the seminary in 1988 when, the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports, "a prominent Dallas man confronted seminary officials about the molestation of his son, who was then 12 or 13."
After four years of counseling, the seminary let Warnshuis back in. "We believe that people should be given a second chance if they turn their lives around," former seminary president Donald Campbell explained to the Star-Telegram in 2001. He graduated in 1992 and eventually became a pastor at Oak Hills Evangelical Free Church.

John,
Apples and oranges. Nobody got molested in your example. And, an engineer doesn't have a moral obligation from the Bible...a minister does. Read it sometime. I think you'll see what I am talking about.

The problem is that there was no criminal pursuit in regards to his first expulsion. So it becomes a he said-she said issue. That is why I insist that victims of child abuse seek incarceration of their perpetrators. Their crime then becomes a matter of public record.Originally posted by Joseph_Botwinick:
