Freedom is a wonderful thing. Because Publix caved to the little pipsqueak, my liberty allows me to spend all my hard earned money at Winn-Dixie or Wal Mart. The fact is, Publix's prices are on the high side and I only went there because they were closest to the house.
I wish I still had a Winn Dixe. They all closed around here.

Gun sales also surged after Hogg started his campaigns. Hogg is not a good person to have as a leader of a political effort.

I think they have got the best prices on meat and their meat is very good, Publix is always more expensive. At Wally World frozen dinners go for $2.50 a box while at Publix it's over a dollar more. The only thing I liked at Publix was the Deli Dept., but from now on Winn-Dixie's will do.

I hear the NRA now has 6 million members. I have been a member for over 30 years and it used to be around 2 million for the longest time. I think membership started going up with the Obama administration and now it's through the roof.

Makes me think back several years when Married with Children (Fox TV) and Michigan housewife, and "family values" activist Terry Rakolta, found so offensive, that she began a letter writing campaign to the show's sponsors to try to get them to withdraw their sponsorship, and for FOX to drop the show. A few sponsors did cancel their commercials, but her efforts had exactly the opposite effect she wanted, the story spread like wildfire and resulted in a huge jump in the ratings for the show. It made this show a major hit, and put FOX on the map. The show's cast and crew sent Rakolta flowers every year that it was renewed, while the whole controversy was spoofed in season nine, episode nine, ... Click here for link
