Same thing I've been doing Don. Waking people up to the lies and crimes of those you are protecting. Whether you realize it or not and from the sounds of it you haven't there has been a revolution going on for quite some time. It's a revolution of the mind.
We don't need guns and violence as you so foolishly "advised". The truth is our weapon and it's blowing huge holes in the globalist's war on all of humanity.
I do more outside this board than on it. I should have left you corporate sponsored mainstream media brainwashed folks to your own accord long ago as the truth seems to be the last thing you all want to hear but as a Christian I figure you are "my people" and so it's my duty to at least try and so I have. And you hate me for it. So be it. You evidently prefer the comfort of easily accepted lies to the prickling heat of the truth.
It would seem Don we've chosen our camps. I chose light and truth and you, well let's just say you chose the other camp.
What else can I conclude Don? It's has become self evident (to all but the most deluded deniers of truth) that Washington and London has for decades been arming training and funding the extremist Jihadis aka "Al Qaeda" and using them as proxy armies to overthrow nations that prefer to not join the New World Order or International Community as the corporate sponsored talking heads so lovingly call it. I support the troops by telling them this truth. They are being ordered to die at the hands of Washington's own pet terrorists.
This apparently suits you just fine because you talk as if sending more and more them to their deaths for the "big lie" is the ultimate honor. Open your eyes and your mind Don. Become informed. Support the troops by telling them the whole truth. Washington and Wall Street are their worst enemies not some make believe phoney phantom menace.
Talking to you has given me some insight here Don, thank you. I've often asked myself how the German people could let Hitler and his Nazi's go on a murderous rampage for so long without questioning it. Now I know. They trusted their government and media. Unlike you however they were never given the chance to examine the truth of what their leaders were doing in their names.
You cannot make that claim. You've been given the chance but you choose to look the other way while our young people continue to die in vain. Yeah you support the troops all right. All the way to their untimely graves.

Ah, Poncho. You've complained about surveillance; but I can't find where you've ever "told us the truth" about the panopticon. You've hinted around about this website being monitored; but I can't find where you've "told us the truth" about the FBI's Carnivore, or how the NSA replaced it with something else. Perhaps I've just missed those posts; or perhaps I'm not as blind as you'd like to believe.
Now consider what you haven't said: I tell you about the things our military troops do in the 90% or more of their time that they're not deployed--and let us not forget that not everyone deploys--and you conveniently ignore it. I mention the things that military members do to support hurricane victims, natural disaster victims, and more--and you conveniently ignore it.
The military ain't perfect, and you'll never hear me say otherwise. But neither is the company you work for, Poncho. I have to assume, based on what you've written, that you no longer work for the VA, or whatever organization it was where you provided VA support; again, I thank you for your service. But I have to ask: when was the last time your company asked you to travel and forego air conditioning, electricity, and even hot food so that you could help literally thousands who were without? And you know I'm talking about here in the US, not Iraq or Afghanistan.
In this time of displacement of hundreds due to the Colorado fires, what are you doing to help? With the massive storm that just decimated parts of the US, what are you doing?
I'll tell you what those poor, misguided, lied-to military members are doing: handing out food & water, setting up shelters, and anything/everything else they can to help their fellow Americans who are in need.
If that's not reason enough to honor and defend them, then in your book, nothing ever will be.

Lady Eagle - you've said "thank you for your service" to me a couple of times. While it's appreciated, I will never feel that I've done enough. And I have to tell you, like I told IAmBlessed once upon a time: Thank YOU for your service. And to all of the members here on Baptist Board, even (sometimes especially) the ones I disagree with. It's easy to forget that others make sacrifices in our absences, that someone keeps the stores open, the clocks ticking; keeps the homefires burning. We take for granted sometimes that things will be the same when we get back; we go through our times trusting that we will return to "normalcy." It's you, and the others here, and especially our spouses and our families, that we entrust with that duty. We can't thank you enough.
This 4th of July, remember what our forefathers did 240 years ago to establish our ability to say whatever we want on a message board; remember what our grandfathers and fathers did 70 years ago to help an entire race of people who were being persecuted for simply being Jewish; and most of all, remember the ones we don't usually think about: the wives, husbands, children who made sure there was something worth coming back to.

As I publicly told the church to which I belong after returning home from being deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom:
To me, the REAL heroes are those parents who are sacrificing to raise their children in the ways of our Lord; those youth who would rather be mocked at than compromise their biblical values; those elderly who perhaps can't get around as easily as before but daily lift up our pastor(s) and missionaries and their familes to the throne of grace, etc., etc.
It's all merely a matter of where our biblical priorities are placed while we live out our daily lives to (hopefully at least) serve and glorify the One who loved us and who died, rose again and is now our Great High Priest.

Don't take this as an attack, for it's certainly not meant as one. But what is the "action item" here? If you are "blowing huge holes in the globalist's war on all of humanity", then why is there more and more to rail on about? If you are making progress, then wouldn't it get easier as time goes on?
Basically, whenever I read one of your posts, all I see is complaining about the way things are, with no proposed way to change them. I told you how I have been trying to make a change (sending emails, etc), and you mocked me. So, what do you propose needs to be done? As far as I can tell, as long as people beginto agree with you, you will feel as if you've done your job, even if it accomplishes nothing.
I've heard your complaints, now what is the answer?
And again with insults. There's no need for that. If you feel you have the truth, then present your case. Berating people doesn't solve anything. Rational discussion will at least get people to listen to you, instead of getting offended by your attacks and insults.
I don't hate anyone. I might disagree with you, but I don't hate you. I do hate your tactics of constantly insulting people and assaulting their intelligence for not agreeing with you.
I imagine right now that you are telling yourself something along the lines of, "Jesus' message was hard. He even called a group of people "vipers"." Well, this is true. But that was to people who were self righteous, seeking to be glorified in their own piety. That wasn't to people who were doing what they thought was right that simply had a different opinion on government matters.
What you fail to realize is that we are all on the same team. We just have different opinions on how this war (the war against unrighteousness) should be fought. You've made it known that you are not making a call to arms. Well, the only other option is the way I am handling it right now; working within the system to try and enact whatever change I can. Have a voice with the right people, and vote for those who I think will be the best for the future (sadly, it seems the case has been whoever will do the least harm).
So, try and remember that just because someone differs from you on opinion does not mean that they are ignorant of "the truth", or that they choose to look the other way. Present your case with facts to support it. If your message is not received, then do as the Bible suggests: shake the dust off your heels as you leave them alone. Berating people and belittling people is not going to convince them to come over to your way of thinking. Rather, it's going to set them against you no matter your message. Preach the truth, even a hard truth, but preach it in love. "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care".
You've made some valid points on some threads before that have given me pause to think. But honestly, your message is most of the time lost in your delivery.
I've got some thoughts and questions for you. But I won't further derail this thread, and honestly I don't think that I could have a conversation with you through PM/E-mail without you telling me how evil I was for being a current servicemember. So, most likely I won't even try and contact you. Maybe I will, and see if we can chat civilly.

What did you ever do to serve this nation? One day of serving, my guess is no. Ever risk your life to defend liberty and freedom? Or is your idea of honoring the military and patriotism waving a flag at a 4th of July parade and singing the Star's Spangled Banner?
Where were you when the Vietnam vets came back without any respect? The military is an organization that defends liberty and freedom according to the orders they are given by elected politicians. The military is not interested in Republicans and Democrats, but doing a job. Frequently it requires the sacrifice of lives. They did not question the orders handed down by idiots like Johnson, McNamera, etc. They merely carried out their mission. They did not deserve the reception they got upon their return from Vietnam.
In essence, the same crowd that jeered the returning vets are the same lame brains that put people like LBJ into office. The focus of the criticism is the politicians, not the military. It is quite easy to spot those who never served a mile away.

Are you asking me if I pay honor to a nation that justifies the murder the unborn, has put men in bondage like animals because of the color of their skin and a military that openly celebrates homosexuals, is that what you are asking?

Okay Sapper. Look man I don't hate you at all. Honestly I think you're quite the brave soul and have only the best intentions. That I can honor. I'm sure you love you're country and would give your life to defend it else wise you wouldn't be wearing that uniform voluntarily.
I applaud your efforts and I apologize for acting like an idiot. But that doesn't change the fact that you and thousands of young people just like you have been duped by traitors pretending to be true blue Americans.
They are responsible for the death and suffering of thousands upon thousands of our fellow countrymen and uncounted numbers of people in other lands and they have the gall to smile for the cameras and heap honors on themselves for their evil deeds.
That makes me angry beyond words. You and I love this country and it's people. They use us as canon fodder overseas and treat us like criminals in our own land!
That makes me angry. I quoted Henry Kissinger one of "our" foreign policy "experts" I hope you looked it up and verified it. He said and I quote "military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy". That's what he thinks of you and he isn't alone all these "planners" who just happen to be corporate funded agents of foreign banks must think the same thing or they wouldn't send our youths off to wars based on their lies.
These wars have nothing to do with protecting us or our freedom and I take offense each and every time I see or hear some corporate talking head telling us this lie on prime time tv.
That makes me angry. It should make each and everyone of us angry but it doesn't. Why? Because we're so afraid that Washington's pet terrorists will get us? Because we're so afraid of the "liberal agenda"? It's the GLOBALIST'S agenda! Liberals are every bit as duped by these multinational criminals as conservative are maybe even a bit more so. They're killing us with "good intentions".
How can we reconcile in our minds that we have to give up our freedoms and live like criminals in our own country to be safe? How can we on the one hand be so afraid of "Al Qaeda" and extremist Islamists that we'll let this country be turned into a militarized big brother panopticon while on the other hand we're the biggest supporter of the extremist Jihadi "Al Qaeda" types all over the world? It just doesn't make sense to me and it makes me angry.
And it makes me angry that my fellow Christians either cannot or will not stop putting each other under the microscope of petty partisan politics long enough to see what's really going on. Liberals, this and conservatives that on and on blah blah blah all the while we're losing everything we ever had. We blame the other side for everything and look away when "our" side commits the same kind of crimes.
It's sickening to behold and it makes me angry. The answer is to break out of the false left vs right paradigm that divides us and unite against our common enemy. THE GLOBALISTS! Not with weapons of destruction but with the truth! Then take away their funding. We are paying for our own destruction voluntarily.
As far as things getting easier. No just more out in the open. The globalists can't make a move without being instantly exposed and it's making them nervous and sloppy. The false flag events they have relied on for years to mold public opinion in favor of their pursuits is failing them. For example, in the past people would have looked at "Fast and Furious" as just another failed government operation due to incompetence. Not today. We can look at it for what it really was a false flag event meant to demonize the second amendment and enact stricter gun control. The democrats have been peddling the lie that 90% of the guns used to commit crimes in Mexico come from the United States. That's not true and they know it so they tried to make it true. They don't care who gets hurt or killed.
Another example is Libya. I thought for sure this would wake the people here up but it didn't. The evidence shows the extremist Jihadis that were and are still today terrorizing Libyans have been trained funded and armed by the "international community" and used as a proxy army to get rid of one man. So what thousands had to be sacrificed? Isn't it worth it now that China is losing it's oil contracts in that part of the world?
And Syria another example of a false flag event. The corporate media has tried for all it's worth to make us believe the armed radical extremists in our employ there are just peaceful (mostly unarmed) protesters being gunned down in cold blood by the Assad government. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have an active thread on this hope you are following it. So what thousands have to be sacrificed so we can put the squeeze on Iran and so with China and Russia.
Once upon a time everyone would believe the fairy tale narratives of our globalist government and it's lapdog corporate funded/controlled media, But not today. It's seems only the people here on BB and those that trust the mass dream media to keep them "informed" believe it. Getting easier? No. But being able to correctly identify the real enemies of freedom and point out their bloody crimes against humanity is a start.
So again I apologize for acting like an idiot and I hope you and I can have some civil conversations. The first step in the war against tyranny and darkness is to correctly identify the enemy.

In the interest of fairness, I apologize for responding in anger to your previous posts. Perhaps if I had taken things with a grain of salt instead of responding as I did, the conversations wouldn't have escalated.
