Dem VP

Now it will be Kamela. And she is a professional attorney.

The thing about Kamala Harris that is of no help to Biden in the general election is the fact that she's from California.

California will vote for Biden, in any case, so picking a Californian won't help him win votes in the Midwest, the South, or the East.

Yes, who would you suggest?

It's pretty obvious that Stacey Abrams wants it badly, and would be acceptable to the black community. However, she seems far from qualified for the position.

Kamala Harris, as you suggested, may receive the nod, after all. She's definitely a big Biden supporter.

By pledging to choose a female as his running mate, Biden may have "painted himself into a corner."

I actually can't come up with a choice that would "fit the bill." Lol

Then maybe he needs to back out of that pledge and appoint a black man. It would have to be a negotiation, one that will appease their constituents. As for me, Amy is qualified, a Midwesterner and a woman. This weeks activity however has made color the top priority however... but how about other directives like like ability, competence, experience, etc. Let’s not forget the VP is next in line.

I don't see how he can back out of that pledge. He'll find a female running mate. It may be Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams, even Elizabeth Warren.

I suppose who ever he chooses will have her upside and downside. But the black community has made it very clear that they want it to be a black female.

Kamala Harris is clearly more qualified than Stacey Abrams. I guess maybe having a Californian on the ticket might be beneficial, after all.

Biden is from the East Coast (Delaware), so perhaps having a Californian as his running mate would help to "balance the ticket," so to speak.

Biden is actually from my home town of Scranton PA (predominately a coal mining/working class environment— HURTING ECONOMY) but he did move to Delaware and served them as Senator. Yea, I don’t know what he is going to do regarding a VP... possibly there is someone out there I’m not aware of.

Amazing that a brother in Christ is a "nut job", and the former President is still seen by many as being the "black Messiah"
So you are saying Obama is not a Christian? And am I to understand you that you consider trump a mountain of Christian virtue?

many who voted for him those 2 terms, especially among the media!

Yeah. Radio host Andrew Wilkow always points this out by telling about the fictional question asked by a reporter during the Obama years. Reporter: "Mr. President, can you help us out here, can you tell us why we love you so much"?

There was that MSNBC man that got canned recently who talked about getting ' a tingling" in him whenever Obama spoke!

I think that Biden may be stuck with Elizabeth Warren. This is dire but no one thinks that Biden can last long if he was elected. Warren will certainly put him out of action very quickly.

Biden has terrible problems because he is not articulate and none of the female candidates is very likable. But it is clear that the Dem V-P candidate after the election if the Dems win, Biden will have to be set aside as incompetent and the V-P becomes President.
