Description and cause of lukewarm assembly?

Pastors determine what is on the menu to feed the sheep.

I was blessed as a young Christian in the late '60s early '70s to be feed the meat of the word. The pastor seemed not concerned as to whether or not I was chocking or having indigestion. I am convinced the Holy Spirit took care of that. My appetite continued to grow.

Today, the menu resembles fast food - more like milk on cold cereal. Otherwise, the goats, who are attending church, might be made to feel uncomfortable, take their wallets and leave.

[2Ti 4:3 ESV] 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

So very true.

So you are implying that there are not true churches that will not or cannot implement a sound training to the sheep?

Personally I don’t think it’s the case... we need to be led by the Holy Spirit in order to turn this around.
