Brother, I do believe what Peter says about Jesus being the Lamb, without blemish or spot.

But don't you think Jesus' spotlessness was talking about His perfection in His character and nature and not His physicality?

Careful here. The only humanity of which you have any experience is fallen humanity. Ensure you aren't projecting your corrupt affections into the person of Christ.

Just another attempt by man to humanize God and bring the trinity down to man's level.

Thank the Lord that God was humanized and the trinity brought down to man's level at Bethlehem. Otherwise we'd be pagan Gentiles.

Maybe not humor per se, but I believe it to be a gouge to make a point to Nicodemus that He most certainly already knew the answer to, and knew Nicodemus could not know it because it had never been revealed before.
