Did Jesus have a sin nature?

That is true. But, Jesus wasn't only God. He was also man. And as a man, the Original Sin that we all have bypassed Him due to the fact that there was no man involved in His conception.

Your view, though you likely don't mean it to, suddenly declares Jesus to be something less than fully human.

How did I delcare Him to not be fully human? I want to know why.

Also, I'd like a scripture that proves that the reason Jesus didn't have a sin nature was because He wasn't born of a human father. I've seen this view advanced, but I don't think I've ever seen scriptural proof.

If I may what is your understanding of a sin nature?

It was said in another thread that our precious Lord Jesus Christ had a sin nature.

I believe he was born with a "post-fall" body. Perhaps that qualifies. I'm not really sure right now.

And let's be careful how we throw the word "heresy" around. Traditionally, that's been reserved for more extreme cases. This is still a disagreement.
